How’d I do? I got some American silver eagles some Panda’s and Maple Leafs.
My first sliver purchase
Am I going to make it with 100k link and this silver stack?
buy gold instead
gold would be nice but too expensive, keep stacking eagles.
After recently trying to sell a bunch of silver I bought years ago, I'd say focus on getting the lowest price over spot because it's all treated as generic silver when you go to sell.
just buy junk silver, it's much cheaper and more collectable
Silver to gold ratio though. Better off buying silver I feel?
This is what I wasn’t sure about. Will I get the premium back when I go to sell. I guess you’d recommend stacking rounds?
If you are just looking to buy silver, you wasted a bit of money buying the Chinese pandas. Having coins is a relatively good thing because they are relatively difficult to counterfeit. The Canadian maple leafs and American silver eagles are good coins to buy if you're living in the U.S. or Canada as they are highly recognized. You'll get some of the premium back when you sell and the amount of premium you get back will depend on demand at the time of selling.
If you're just looking to buy silver at the lowest possible premium, though, you should be buying bars. Thing is, I don't know what kind of trouble you'll go through when you sell them again as I would imagine that they should be assayed when selling.
I sold a variety of US & Canadian coins, bars ranging from 1-100 Oz, and rounds to a variety of different buyers ranging from kitco, coinshops, and individuals. They were all considered just silver with no regard to the mint or premium. The only exception was a few individuals were willing to pay a bit more but it was hard to find anyone who wanted to buy more than 10 Oz.
Also there was no assaying of any kind, but most wanted some form of id

Not sure if I should be impressed or disappointed
Good purchase, Pandas have a strong record of premium appreciation, just don't expect a LCS to give you the proper price when it's time to sell.
>sliver
was this the hodl meme of prehistoric boomers?
Thanks, that's nice to know. I bought 10 ounce bars from APMEX and figured the easiest way to sell them would be to sell them back to APMEX when it was time.
Laugh all you want but silver has done a reasonably good job of holding its purchasing power over the years. People were complaining when gasoline in the U.S. was over $3.00 a gallon. Yet, three dimes from 1964 or earlier would have bought you a gallon of gasoline just as it did in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Even with today's depressed silver prices, three silver dimes will buy you a gallon of gasoline. I very seriously doubt 10 modern day quarters will be able to buy a gallon of gasoline decades from now but there's a good chance that three silver dimes still will.
I like the leaf
>Am I going to make it with 100k link and this silver stack?
no
>bitcoin is gold
>litecoin is silver
>you just bought trash
you’re rich user you could make 20% gains in 10 years
better than 75% loss in 8 months
>only 75%
There's a list of coins that have lost more at an even faster rate that have no hope of coming back. At least sparkle dirt has gone at minimum of sideways and up at best.
Buying panda's for 30% more which weigh 5% less.
Why? The SIlver to Gold ratio is heavily weighted towards Gold. Which means Silver has more room to grow.
Jesus christ nobody cares about your prepper beanie babies
same happened to gold n silver after the futures launch except yours won’t recover banks now own that market
you're more of a coin collector, you paid 17.85 for 28.95 grams of silver and then 23.26 for 30 grams of silver
I researched that each year the design changes so sometimes you’ll be able to get the premium back when you sell pandas
This is because you are a faggot who bought faggy shitcoins you faggot. Should have bought Lunars and that sort.
There are coins with just a slight premium over spot that have low mintage and have a good track record of going up in value.
People who only buy generic are lazy ass americans for the most part.
AAAHHHH *sip* my best investment yet *sip*
Is African silver blood silver? Because I could get behind that.
Why would you buy anything other than cast?? Bought 1oz of gold at the local mint today a couple of bucks above spot price. The price of coins and even those minted bars and nuggets is a scam
Wtf who actually buy fucking silver.
If you decide to invest in silver, just buy secondhand silver rings and stuff. Silver is a crap metal. Used silver ring costs you $1-2
Lol fucking panda coin? Really who the fuck you think is going to buy that from you.
Omg
This 100%
Nice, bought my first 15 silver coins 2 days ago.
Just a few of the well know generic ones for a start.
>Lol fucking panda coin? Really who the fuck you think is going to buy that from you.
A homeless Chinese man will buy it for his rich nephew. Then his nephew will throw it at his head and laugh at him
im not knocking ag, I'm pondering if the word 'sliver' started out as a misspelling of ag
A lot of people collect panda coins
