It was so fun back then having to plan out specific talents, and most normies would pick shitty talents so you could just easily wreck them. Now the talent tree is so simplified it's so stupid

They literally genocided the tree niggers in their giant magical tree, nuhorde is the most hardcore easily.

I looked at what they've done to classes, and I had to look and reassure myself it was a WOW site, it's so different now. I'm not quite sure what the fuck they did. It all seems to be "push these 3 buttons, win".

I was a rogue for my whole time, with alts of other classes. I was never more satisfied than when I figured out what all those OTHER buttons were for, in PvP, and started taking down undead KEK rogues with stunlock, and teabagging them and making them rage so hard they'd make accounts on the alliance side on my server to snivel at me in /whisper. I spent most of my time in TBC and Wrath pissing off the entire other side in battlegrounds and making them chase me around the map, while my team won. That was what a rogue WAS. They were pointless in raiding, but they were gods in PvP. Once i started raiding as a lock/mage, and pvping as a rogue, the game was fucking fun.

Now? I don't see the point. I haven't dove that deep into it, but just looking at the talents, or lack of them, I don't see how PvP is even possible.

Honestly, the current WoW should have ended at Wrath, and a 2.0 started after that. Or another game. Cata on is just pointless jerking off over lame gear and achievements.
I was talking to someone I know who used to play, and his comment was "Imagine starting new, right now, and having to level through all of that. Fuck that." Do they even have new players?

There are games I'd fucking love to dive in deep and geek the fuck out over, like Factorio, or EVE online, or start modding for shit like Fallout, but that don't pay the bills. yeah i've charged anywhere from $40 - 100 an hour for boosting over the last 8 - 9 years. Kind of dumb how many retards will pay for boosting in this dead game.

I didn't have rank 1 but after getting glad back in wotlk that allowed me to get into boosting circles which were literally printing money back then

Basically. The last two expansions I've been close friends / arena partners with people who run a lot of the boosting services & sites and theyre pulling in a few grand a week.
