Why American obsessed with him?
Why American obsessed with him?
because eric blair was an anti-communist MI5 snitch and they recognise one of their own
who?
Hes like "Q"
>this is just like in 1984
>hey bro, did you ever read Animal Farm?
He literally fought in a commie militia in the SCW and then he said that he'd have rather fought with the anarchists.
broke: "omg literally orwellian rn"
woke:"1984 is fictional book and dosen't matter"
bespoke:"1984 is a fictional book but has large amounts of allegory and could possibly happen in our lives if left unchecked. but as of right now, nothing is purely orwellian"
>1984 was not meant to be an instruction manual
>We should actually work towards an Orwellian society where Big Brother cucks dissidents left and right
whatchu gonna do about it bitchboi
and written a bestseller book shittalking the same militia into oblivion
>why yes i think we should implement chinas social credit system around the world, what gave it away?
1984 and Animal Farm are the only books Americans read in high school that they can actually relate to.
My elementary school teacher wanted me to read animal farm because i was the ""smart"" 8 year old and I came out thinking the pigs were good
in my case it was more of
>wow thats literally what communists who hunted down my family were like
>Yes, I read Huxley
unironically living in it
his work is quite simplistic so it's easy for the american brainlets to consume and regurgitate as an expression of their distaste for communism that has been inculcated into them through propaganda (orwell essentially is propaganda)
Which is funny because Orwell was a commie. He fought for the republicans in the Spanish Civil War. He just didn't like Stalin.
How can one man be so based?

everyone in school has to read his book. It's good desu, it warns for the type of logic abuse that is happening now.
Now it's understandable why American keep mentioned about him and his work- from YouTube to Jow Forums.
why did he think spanish would go extinct ?
Because his experiences disillusioned him. Literally said all the people involved in the socialist movement were a bunch of freaks and poofs.
