You tried your best to cuck yourself out of being a proper empire but Turkish culture inevitably spread out to Ottoman controlled areas and had a prestigious status.
In Egypt a lot of the vocabulary related to modern governance and industrialization is Turkish, and until today parents often give their newborns Turkish names because it gives an impression of high status.
In the Levant I think your influence is even more pronounced but I'm not 100% sure about that.

the seljuks picking up persian and ottoman's mixing arabic with turkish and persian is more pragmatism than cuckoldry. genghis khan, babur, etc. did the exact same thing. nomadic turkic culture was not compatible with medieval civil society.
that said the ottomans still made most of its income through pillaging the balkans, so certain aspects were definitely kept.
the non-assimilative policies of the ottoman empire both kept minorities in check (until the invention of the nation state) and also maintained a ruling Turkish class. It was a pragmatist empire that functioned primarily as a military machinery, and it was very successful in that aspect. also stop applying 1920's puritan nationalist brainlet sentiment to an empire from the 12th century.
