Why aren't more people interested in links, and even cryptos in general...

Why aren't more people interested in links, and even cryptos in general? I was discussing ethereum with my coworker the other day, and this other female coworker looked at us with pure disgust. It's as if we were talking about raping someone.
Is it because it's too nerdy/complicated for them or something? I just don't get it.
Why aren't all these normies taking a few hours of their days to research cryptos, and what are the next big thing ?Why are we the only ones talking about Smart contracts? Why are we the only one even knowing what Hyperledger, digital assets or Accord project?
Are we deluded or are they retards?

Oh but they were.
They bought in january and REEE'd in summer.
That's why your coworker saw you with disgust.

I ask myself this question constantly. We'll just be 'lucky nerds'

and thats perfectly okay

you are deluded

You're deluded. Blockchain is not the next big thing.

Are you saying if ljnk moons, you werent lucky to discover it?

i think hes saying that he will be lucky

No you retard I’m saying that Link is never going to “moon” and you people are all fucking deluded dipshits.

>10 years on chans doing nothing but posting and learning small nuances of a internet sub-culture while the rest of my life slowly went to shit.

Its like earning a PhD in a useless field that will hopefully pay off this time around.

Normies have been told crypto is a scam, funny money, has no purpose, full of racist “bros”

who is this absolute angel?

Right in the feels. I am thinking maybe this time it will be different with link, maybe after all this time being trapped in this shithole site I could get lucky too. I am still hugely sceptical about link, in stages of denial but Im growing hopeful every day, which is only going to hurt more if it somehow fails.

We're deluded and they are retards. Normal people don't have opinions, their opinion is just whatever the popular opinion is. If their friends, boss w/e thinks Crypto is retarded, they think that. Now if JP Morgan started saying, you should buy crypto, they'd be in fucking heaven with it.

They're just not able to understand the possibilities. Most people live in a world where nothing is real until they sense it right in front of them. When someone who isn't capable of being able to conceptualize what the implications of a shift in technology could bring it confuses them. Their natural response is to shun it as not worthwhile to think about, and they're doing this subconsciously to a degree. Also, the specifics of the tech and how it actually works to begin with are WAY outside of their knowledge base. Its simply not feasible to them as something worth their mental energy. Thats OK with me though. They get to stay poor. Pic related

Idk why man. It makes no sense to me. If someone told me about some technology or new idea that I never heard of I’d go research the topic later that day just to make sure I’m not missing out on something or maybe learn something I didn’t know I needed too

It's sad to say but this isn't the "normal" thought process of the masses. It really isn't.

>Why aren't all these normies taking a few hours of their days to research cryptos

Normies don't give a shit about crypto and won't take time to sit down and research shit about LINK or any other project.. they spend time talking about celebrity gossip or drake's new album instead. At this point I also assume most normies think cryptocurrency is a scam.

FUD by the media, plus it's confusing and weird to them. They have now clue how it works and if they do, they think it's something for neckbeards, criminals, and sheep who buy scams. Warren Buffett even said so, so they know it has to be true.

You mean the 0.0001% of the population who actually bought a tiny amount of BTC in January? We've got a hugely overinflated sense of how big a deal the Golden Bull Run actually was to normies.

>normies
>research

There's your contradiction.

LINK is nebulous, esoteric.

>Why aren't all these normies taking a few hours of their days to research stocks?
Only a tiny percentage of normies take a few hours out of their day to research stocks or even basic normie/boomer investing basics. The upper-tier normies will stick money into a 401k or Roth IRA they look at oncer or twice a year and that's as far as they go. You really expect them to get into something so fringe as crypto?

because it's been shilled so hard here, im gonna buy myself a bag of LINK and forget I ever bought it

maybe ill read on the news sometime in the future that i made it

When I talk about crypto, people listen. You're just not very charismatic.
