Damn you Europeans.

Nice joke about norwegian being danish, op

Attached: wojakk.jpg (474x400, 23K)

I would rather speak Danish than Sw*d*sh.

Scots isn't a langu-
"All byrunnyn annuellis that happynis to be awchtande the tyme of the redemptioune; "

I would rather have a Norwegian wife than a Danish wife. :)

That's what English would look like if it was phonetic.

"That's what English would look like if it was phonetic."
Lets' write this sentence phonetically.

That's what Inglish woud look like if it was phonetic.

:)

>That's what Inglish woud look like if it was phonetic.
that hardly looks phonetic tho

The best way to lean a language is too keep reading the same book until you understand it.

You mean... Dads wat Ingliš wud lůk if it wos fonetik?

dæts vatt inglisj vudd lukk læik iff it vass fånetikk?

I will read the Gospel according to Saint Matthew until I memorized it in French :^)

>forgot "laik"

Pretty much, but hey i dont hear double letters like in your "lukk" there.

>luk-k

"Luk" can do.

>be me

>be me
>learning Romespeak
>say "Nigro sum"
>all the italian women come to me

have you tried speaking Romespeak to people who might be able to understand it?

It was a joke I hoped the other Serbian poster would notice. Salvete means serviettes in Serbian

Should I learn arabic or russian?

how the fuck are we supposed to know what you should learn you fucking idiot

>Learn:
Russian

Icelandic
Finnish

Romanian

>Know:
Japanese
Korean
English
Italian

I find the least resources for Romanian, Finnish, and Icelandic. I can learn the grammar and vocabulary but I need people speaking it, and a dictionary of native sentences with translations. Sigh.

Arabic seems more fun because it's very different from what you are used to

WHY ARE U SO MEAN TO ME it was an innocent quesrtion :(

ya!! that's what i think too!! thanks user :) unlike the other smelly user who hurt my feelings

تعلم العربية حبيبي

It depends on what your goal is. Arabic is more exotic, but Russian is easier (because it's Indo-European). Russian is more widespread, but Arabic has more speakers.

>Swede is actually an Arab
beklenmedik

>yųų> äųjell pleï

Russian is easier. I'd say Russian since I am learning it too.
With Arabic, there are like 4 Arabic dialects that you would have to learn if you are interested in areas outside of the Arabian peninsula. Essentially, on top of learning the script and shit, you would have to learn another 4 languages on top, though I'd use the term 'languages' very loosely since the difference between the dialects is like the difference between English and Scots.
But what do I really know? I'm just another monolingual bloke like you.

know of any good French bibles?

Skip French and read the Vulgate
t. shill

based

takealot.com/french-new-testament-fl/PLID39978063 I am going to take this one because its not that expensive. If I have more money in the future and my French is better I would get La Bible de Jerusalem. I heard it is quite, do you have any other suggestions?

vielleicht ja, aber es gibt viele gute deutsche Filme.
european cinema adds a breath of fresh air tb h, american cinema's superficiality can be tiresome.

What are the simplest languages?

simple in what sense

If you’re asking questions like that, you aren’t going to make it

Probably something purpose built to be simple like Esperanto. It doesn't matter which is simplest, which language you want to learn is much more important.

Toki Pona

the one you already know

In its rules/grammar. For example Indonesian is apparently very simple, it has few or no rules that require conjugation/declension
It's just a question yeesh

I should add that I mean spoken toki pona. The "sitelen sitelen" writing system would take a fair bit more work.

Fuck, forgot pic related

>In its rules/grammar.
yup, tho i suppose there are complications attached to such systems, like how so much has to be inferred from context.
I have heard that classical Chinese has extremely simple grammar rules and thus many complicated concepts can be combined into extremely short structures, if that's the sort of thing you're looking for. For langs that are still spoken, yeah I'd guess something like malay/indonesian would be your best bet.

English

Please fuck off

i wish i had done this sooner, watching films in the target language with the target language subtitles as well. lots of input going on

Attached: 5683g2v.jpg (1680x1050, 368K)

The problem with that is, the chance of there being subtitles in your target languages for a particular movie in that language drops to 0 really fast the less popular the language is.

well i won't have to face this concern since im studying german. they even dub english movies so it's fine for me, german subtitles are in great abundance

Attached: 8c47703a.jpg (1280x1280, 141K)

It's incredibly helpful, sometimes they're hard to find though. Mind telling me where you get them from? I actually tried looking for German captions some time ago and found them hard to come by

opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/6040846/good-bye-lenin-de
subtitles for that particular movie.

that's a commentary track fyi, there are usually multiple options to download down below

Es gibt ungefähr ohne trollen wie 12 gute deutsche filme die wirklich aus dem herz deutschlands kommen und man kann die deutsche seele beim anschauen merken , der rest der filme sind ein kopie von Ami scheisse

i think in some cases it may depend on your taste in film as well.

absolutely agreed, there are heaps of languages available for plenty of movies

>web provider has blocked this site
Fuck this gay ass country and its faggot leaders. Norgay was better under Nazi occopation than it is with "freedom" and that God-forsaken black cancer that our faggot leaders call "oil."

well that's fucking retarded. im sorry mate

get a vpn?

Are those restrictions IP or DNS based?

Attached: 1393380107194.jpg (333x347, 15K)

Do not do this. Do not.

This does not improve your listening skills. Most people are better at reading in their TL than listening. When you do this you're basically just reading. Read the Untertiteln separately and then watch without them. Many fall into this trap.

How do you not have a VPN? Most don't work for 4chsn anymore but you can still get around gay restrictions like that very easily.

I'm considering it.

Not sure. I know jack shit about computers. :-/

If you try to go to 92.240.234.122, does it get blocked too?

Hmmm ok, ill try it

I know. I'm just somewhat lazy.

Dont go to this hyperlink, i did it and now my computer is spewing mustard gas

>It works!

Good, it means it's DNS based. Follow this guide to bypass your provider's DNS server and you're golden 1.1.1.1/dns/#setup-instructions (at least for this site)

Based. Thanks for helping a brainlet out.
