We've been in a trade war for months now and the market hasn't tanked, in fact it's even bounced back a bit. What happened? Everyone was certain that the trade war would crash the market and yet here we are. I'm starting to think that the trade war is a meme.

We won't have a bear market because Tether exists and props up the TBC. Tether transactions started in October 2014 and BTC found its floor two months later. We won't have a true bear market like we should as half the price of BTCUSD comes from tether propping it up. Weak hands will still be shaken out and all that but we are going up.

The trade war is going far better than expected. The EU made a deal with the US almost immediately, a Mexico-America deal is (at least according to Trump) being progressed on, and China's retaliation hasn't been that bad. Things can change though
