What travel destination disappointed you the most?

What travel destination disappointed you the most?

unironically lisbon
crowded meme shithole full of niggers

Singapore

auschwitz

helsinki is boring
milan is an awful city

that's pretty much it, I'm very easily satisfied, I've travelled to about 50 countries and I rarely come home disappointed

Cairo. I expected nothing but was still disappointed. Upper Egypt was lit though so I don't regret my trip

Japan.

barcelona

why?

Partially true. You probably went to tourist trap places. Those are expensive and overcrowded with tourists and next to no locals go there

I've never been abroad
>implying I have any spare money to travel

Belgium. Didn't even feel first world.

Haha, you’re poor

Bucharest, just a giant shithole that wasn't that cheap and they all tried to scam me.

Damn was it that bad?
Heard Romania has lots of beautiful places yet to be hot but no one said nice things about the capital

nothing to see and too hot (no hot girls)

based, tell your friends to stay the fuck out also

I indeed am my western overlord

This.

Attached: 1143350.jpg (786x719, 58K)

Yeah, had the worst time there.
Been a cross the world, been in poor areas of China, but Bucharest takes the cake.

Venize, what a overrated shithole.

pretty based city but the amount of latino drug dealers pestering me in the city center was fucking insane, the police there is shit. one of them wanted to beat me up with his friends after I told him to fuck off.
why? I'm going there soon
boring as fuck and a whore of a tour guide which made up lies about rats the size of housecats
cairo is filthy but in a unique way, and the national museum is great
cringe
brussels is horrible

sad I have to go there for work a lot

Also I went to Bulgaria and found out the hard way that in most clubs people don't even dance, the club hires dancers while people just stand awkwardly at tables buying overpriced drinks

Romanian hating Bucharest or just hating foreigners?

mom's womb -> outside world

>go to a place
>disappointed
>other person cringes
You are the cringe, friend. It was my fault anyway for going to the largely western areas anyway. Not like I was trying to go Akiharabrabara for some loli onahole anyway.

>Been a cross the world
Which place did you like the most despite being undeveloped, irrelevant, or both?

paris

you can take bus to Sofia from Istanbul for like 10usd. surely you can afford that?

This
Some buildings look genuinely nice but the garbage and an eternal line of homeless beggars won’t let you enjoy them.

being disappointed in japan? cringe bro..

The National Museum was nice and so were the mosques and copte churches, but other than that it's meh. I'm still glad I got to the the Toutankhamon pieces for cheap rather than pay the overpriced tour they are doing right now while they finish the new museum near the pyramids

just hating foreigners
it is starting to get too crowded here

I hab no frens
what would I do in greece or romania or bulgaria without frens

see new places?
meet new people in hostels?

what the fuck did you say about helsinki?
what did you do there? how is it "boring"
faggot

I really liked Belgium, but I didn't go to Brussels

London.
> expensive
> no interesting architecture; everything is either a decaying industrial relic or a prefabricated commieblock
> pub food is terrible, beer is ok but nothing out of this world
> bus traffic is so slow you're better off walking everywhere
> expensive
> full of rubbish in the streets in touristic neighbourhoods such as the Soho
> London underground is the least comfortable metro system I've been to - and this includes ex Soviet republics
> also, expensive

Los Angeles, awful place

What's wrong with Brussels? It's not pretty outside of the center but there are things to do

Sounds great to me. Only reason white guys would dance is to get girls - if the girls aren't into it then all the better. Don't tell me you actually dance for fun

Lower your expectations of the world, kid.

Paris was fitlhy and full of black people.

I enjoy all kinds of places. Love the Alps, Finland was chill, China has amazing foods and I always get treated very nice, Canada had the best nature.
The US is one of the worst places for me, don't like the people and culture.

The base I'm serving at

Salzburg
Rainy and nothing special.

maybe one day
I'm planning to get romanian citizenship

I get it, the Netherlands is the same. Amsterdam just isn't Dutch anymore.

Helsinki is quite a boring capital city, but it has charm. I might be biased because I basically met my gf there, and we had our first date in Helsinki.

>Rainy and nothing special.
t. didn't watch the behind the scenes feature of the sound of music

Paris

Canada is the exact same place though

Paris, dirty and full of hawkers.

You just ignore them... usually they leave you alone.

Helsinki is subtle. Have you been in other Finnish cities? They are VERY small.

This. Full of arrogant wankers and too hot to walk anywhere.

New York. Well, I kinda knew it was gonna be shit but I had some hopes in the back of my head.

Barcelona: Normie city with no soul and full of immigrants. Madrid was fantastic though

>The US is one of the worst places for me, don't like the people and culture.
You did not like the nature either?

Speaking of which I enjoyed my stay in Salzburg itself but my day trip to Hallstatt sucked ass. Not only it was easy to get there, all I saw was a small village with a lake and you see more gooks than whites

>in most clubs people don't even dance, the club hires dancers
Didn't know bulgarians were that based

*not only it wasn’t

Las Vegas

Stockholm, it was just boring.

For the love of our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus CHRIST have sex

it's like all the negative stereotypes about paris, without any of the positives
fucking hate it, have to spend my weekend there next week
don't know why the other faggot responded to you
but it's straight up boring bro

Oh boy, what a fake ass city this is. Yet it is genuinly quintessentially US american.

What the fuck, never say that to a white straight man

London, too expensive for what you get. Overall bad food, meh beer, too international to feel any local English atmosphere, area where I stayed (Westminster) was around 99% Paki, smell of shisha bars dominates streets during the evening. Museums are really cool though.
Bonus points for Hyde Park, went to that speech square, I expected to witness some amusing Britbong political discourses, but all I've encountered were local Imams radicalizing local people in their durka durka language and occasional Allah Akbar chanting, truly an amusing sight.

In Mexico: Basaltic Prisms in Hidalgo. The government built swimming pools and bars next to this natural wonder.

International: Ville de Québec. The town is beautiful but Le Château Frontenac is and always was just a hotel, I tought it was a very important historical building.

Forgot to add, don't want to diss England as a whole, I spent half of my stay there in small town/countryside areas visiting my mate and they were majestically comfy and I really enjoyed my stay there, but London is a hellhole.

This was when I was younger, and before the height of the opiod crisis.
But I was very disappointed by West Virginia.
I thought it was supposed to be a beautiful mountain state. But it was just an uglier version of the Blue Ridge region of Virginia.

I have, went to some family summer cottages with a Finnish friend. I'm not the Helsinki hating Dutchy.

I do, but I can't enjoy a place with shit food and horrible people.

Paris.
The most insane amount of homeless, gypsies, aggressive panhandlers, and shitty trinket sellers I've ever seen.

I mean, I'm not sure what you're expecting out of Las Vegas.

>rats the size of housecats
Those exist

Where did you go in the USA?

Even Swedes hate Stockholm.

I was not expecting anything other than what it was. A fake city in the midst of a desert full of casinos and brown people advertising strip clubs and hookers.

How were you disappointed then

an average housecat? dont believe it

he's just another angry humorless German

NYC has huge rats

London I guess. It felt like a giant version of Stockholm, equally boring, grey and packed with brown people.

I'm sure it does
but not the size of housecats

Disneyland LA

Crowded as fuck, with hours long queues

paris

Yeah I don't know for sure. I've seen city rats but thankfully haven't run into any that massive

This but I found the metro to be okay.
They have some seriously shitty houses though, it's like they don't have carpenters or plumbers.
I've been on the Channel Islands too, it's like all their houses were made in the 40s

Milano and i didn't have high expectations.

Which non-western country was favorite for european travellers?

I never said I was.
Go eat a burger cletus. You are not yourself when you're hungry.

This. It's just Somalis and North Africans selling stolen shit all over the place.

depends on what is western. is japan western? bosnia? turkey?

Torino; everything looked rather gray (ex-industrial city). Car museum was cool though

I have a few I really didn't like.

>Paris
>Los Angeles
>Tokyo (though some of it was awesome)
>Rome
>NYC
>Stockholm
>Oslo

Would never go back.

>but not the size of housecats
in Frankfurt Germany I saw a rat as big as a raccoon, it was in a bar

Osaka is an absolute shithole.

Taiwan was better than I thought it would be. They were always super friendly to me and the nature in the mountains were nice too

>Rome
Fucking Pajeets and Dindus selling crap in the streets.

I found Milano was quite nice, and had charm

NY and Colorado

And suicidal drivers and moped riders.
