there are downsides to not having a normal working/office deal, but also, i love being alone and just doing whatever i want every single day of my life.

with the internet today, this is possible for almost anyone who wants it bad enough to put the hours in. it was not easy in any way, i put an extreme amount of hours in to get to this point.

The having no interaction part scares me. Currently fine cause ive been neeting short term, but the key is to not end up like a fucking neckbeard. Ironically all wagies have such little discipline that they would end up like the stereotypical neet.

in my earlier years, i lived with friends of a similar age - so there would always be something going on in the evenings, people coming round to play games or chat/chill/drink/toke. i used to pay for the whole house, my friends would contribute with good times and doing little tasks for my site (writing reviews etc).

but once everyone finished uni and moved on/away for work, now that i live alone, i need to put some effort into finding enjoyable social activities outside the house. been a bit slack with this.

i got for long walks most days, have a trading/social group online which is nice (voice/text), go home to folks place for dinner a couple times/wk, but need a bit more IRL interaction to make things more balanced. also garden a lot lately, my current place has loads of work in that respect. think i wanna get a top quality partner and maybe start a senpai eventually too, as i get further into the 30's, that's becoming something i wanna do after-all.

Monthly expenses x 24 if you want to quit all jobs temporarily. 2 years of time is plenty to dick around.

Yearly expenses x 33 lets you quit all jobs forever though. That changes to (yearly expenses-yearly side job income) x 33 if you're willing to still do stuff.

The traditional wisdom is six months, but two years like the other guy said is comfy.
