Bunch of Amerimutts rushing into MG fire, why can't mutts win a war without zergrushing? Honestly it is kinda inhumane.

I'm sure we invaded it too at some point

okay, thanks for letting me post

Présent !

my cunt had about 60 ships participating there
Which means we’ve been in two Normandy invasions
I have double the right to post here :^)

Based, Thank you United Kingdom and Canada for saving Europe!

Aussies checking in

Officially no, but there were ~10,000 supporting the invasion in some way. e.g. Kiwi pilots serving in the RAF flying Dakotas for the airborne drops, as well as in the RN and radar specialists. None actually landed on the beaches as far as I'm aware.

t. been to Normandy Omaha & Utah beaches

Why did you go to the American beaches instead of the Commonwealth beaches?

based
you know nothing about our military history

They didn't save Europe. Stalin's USSR saved Europe.

Nobody believes that we were the major force behind D-day, we were too busy fighting another war with Japan

reporting in

we were on both sides

>confusing d*xie with american

Right here m8. I'm in Normandy actually, and please tell your choppers to calm the fuck down, they're noisy.

It was the battlefield tour I was on, which also went to some of the battle sites where Easy Company 506th fought in Normandy. Massive fan after reading Band of Brothers and watching the TV mini series. Other sites included Sainte-Mère-Église, Carentan, and the D-Day museum. I made a couple of my own trips into Belgium - Bastogne, Ypres, Netherlands - Arnhem, and while in Germany to the Mohne & Eder dams. Just enjoy learning about military history.

>t.Massive fucking brainlet
We arent the early Soviets. We had naval fire support, air support, pre landing barages, disinformation, tanks (though many were stuck but some still acted as fire support), paratroopers behind enemy lines, climbing gear, ranger forces, bangalores, flame throwers, sub machine guns, crewed machine guns, BARS, etc.

Poles (surprisingly with 3 warships and air cover), Slovaks and Czechs were there so I'll partially accept that.

I can officially post in this thread

>Hollywood myth
Hollywood focuses on one beach because our troops took it and it was a shit storm. It doesnt pretend the British werent there and almost ways indicates the British Navy (why would we have more there if it's in the fucking channel and same with air cover). It key ignores that tanks were involved though.

>1860s wars were fought like WW2.
You're drunk Pekka. Zerg Rushes were even used by Euros in the beginning of WW2. The Soviets(at least initially and you should know this) and Japanese were the ones still using zerg rushes in WW2.

>By December 1939 Soviet advances began to stall out and despite initial success with doctrinal mass and penetration across a broad front.[3] A lack of dedicated mechanized exploitation forces allowed the Finnish army to stem and repel Soviet advances with counter attacks on Soviet flanks.[3] Tactically, the Soviets lacked cohesive combined arms maneuver and tanks were regularly committed without infantry support.[1] Soviet success was achieved ultimately through a strategy of attrition, using a significantly larger resource base to wear away at the Finnish army.[1]

I work next to the NYC heliport so everytime Trump comes in we have two Osprey land. If you havent heard them yet, they are much worse.

Didnt the Spanish soldiers fight with the allies hoping they'd invade Spain after defeating the Germans?

Yeah, he was republican so he wanted to defeat Franco.
