Also, >kek Those posts that I replied to in the last thread that got deleted. I don't think it was anything more substantial than highly risky speculation. Definitely not any solid conclusions to draw.

when is the housing market gonna dump, I want to be able to live it's not like affluent property-owning boomers have a vested interest in keeping housing prices inflated and continually rising
but if no one can buy their shitty property, how the fuck can they even value them that high? Unless it's the chinese buying shitloads of property like in Australia
fuck it I'm ranting I just want to be able to buy a house
Michael Thompson

Jaxon Lewis

Gabriel Perez
It's the Chinese and Indians and Russians. Fuck have you seen the houses pajeets be buying these days? They're like 5 stories tall in giant housing developments built last week. Who fucking makes all these houses? They must be filthy fucking rich. How do I become a landlord to rich people?
excellent so if i were foreign money, fleeing exposure from the rest of the world, where would i go? US midcaps? IWM? treasuries? long or short?
Caleb Wood
I don't know if turkey is enough of a catalyst for it.
Ryan Butler
i dont think so either, but if money keeps panicking out of EMs, i DO see straya as a weak link that could be at risk. theyre iffy at best rn
Samuel Foster
where the fuck do they even get that much money? I just don't understand it, the amount of shit they buy they must make up like 99% of the entire GDP of their countries
Carson Taylor
I noticed a few weeks ago that almost every street in town has a house for sale. Simultaneously farmers are selling parts of their land and building subdivisions left and right. That doesn’t seem right. Especially after the flood when tens of thousands were displaced. There should be a shortage desu.
Joseph Hill

Can you tell us a little more about your saturday activities?
Luke Turner
I just had to gameplan it out slightly to try to make a more informed decision. Also if you saw my portfolio risk "highly" isn't enough to describe it.
Ethan Barnes
So some dude mentioned AMDA (amedica) some time ago. After some research I might pump some $ into it. Since the med-tech is promising + they have the patents. There are some rumors of buyouts since this is important tech for the future and that's why it keeps being surpressed.
The thing is they are already some time
Anthony Thompson
Trump has been using threatening language, FED might be forced to MAGA
I should also mention, I live in coastal Florida. All of the farms a few miles inland have sold off huge tracts of their land, and giant toothpick-and-bubblegum housing developments of 200 or more homes are going up overnight.
They're shitty houses in a shitty location but are all still being sold for $300k+, and with every new development, they just up the ante (200k to 250k, 250k to 300k, 300k...; and the houses aren't even different or higher quality.)
Even though this is coastal florida, I don't know how or where these developers expect to find people to live in these homes, unless it's literally just to cater towards Chinese/Russian/Indian billionaires looking to launder their money in bullshit.
John Wood
housing leads to malinvestment up the ass. The rising market makes more investors buy in, which makes more houses be built, etc etc
The real thing is the land ownership.
Hudson Hughes
All of this has happened before, and it will happen again.
>Can you tell us a little more about your saturday activities? Uhhh... Crying and masturbating? Nah, the livestream is just going to be running through some fundamental analysis on whatever the fuck people shill me. Otherwise, my Saturday would consist of pretending that I'm going to work on an ML model, drinking, shitposting, maybe some exercise and various coding activities
Ah, I see. I thought you were under the impression that I had actually told you something profound. If it makes things any more interesting, Google also has a self-driving cars project/business if you weren't already aware
Hold on to your butts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Alexander Evans
This fucking broker. I gotta start moving my shit over to TastyWorks or TDA or something, but I'm in the middle of this Tesla Gamble and don't want to fuck it up
It really is unsustainable. Their ability to build these shitty neighborhoods far outpaces the rising demand. It’s scary. My neighbor is building a new house after the flood, they framed it in a week. 1500 sqft. The other scary thing about my area is that we are driven by the oil industry. We’ve had a few new construction projects start up. Tens of thousands of contract workers are moving in. The tradesmen are living in RV parks. A hookup costs $500 a month now. Those guys are only around for a few months. The management buys houses though. They’ll sell them when the job is over. The scary thing, of the 60k jobs those projects have created only a few hundred will be permenant.
Caleb Kelly
I'm 4x leveraged 100% into TSLA.
This is nuts.

I wanted to use the relish pic, but couldn't find it
>The scary thing, of the 60k jobs those projects have created only a few hundred will be permenant. Isn't this reminiscent of the gov. contracted construction crews of the Great Depression, except less khakis and dirt and more mexicans and bean farts?
Adam Scott
>TSLA news WELP MAYBE >new tsla news Welp I think so >new tsla news in 2 years
This fucking stock is pure bullshit sentiment and dreams of everyone looking at it. This news can drop it to 340 or up to 370 by how people fucking view it.
Justin Mitchell
>SAUDI fund >funds not really secure
He's going to jail
Christian Bennett
the people who made the ThinkOrSwim platform are the people who made TastyWorks, btw.
The housing market is an easy ploy of forgin powers to launder money into the US while serving as an Economic weapon against. We just need to ban non Americans from owning land/buildings. This would spark the next great recession though. But you know, fuck the Chinese. We really need better regulation of housing market. Towns with more houses than people but nobody can afford is not supply and demand.
Josiah Diaz
Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of Jow Forums are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bait to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
Hunter Gomez
>of the 60k jobs those projects have created only a few hundred will be permenant. doesn't matter 60k looks good on paper for next quarter :^) Gulf Coast is gonna get fucked. Apparently Sarasota, where I live, was one of the epicenters of the 2008 housing market/subprime loan crash. Something tells me history's gonna repeat itself.
boy it's gonna suck for me, I'm going to be graduating in 2-3 years and it's probably going to be in the middle of a recession, and my major (electrical and computer engineering) already doesn't have the most openings to begin with
