Honestly I'd love if we brought back everyone with Irish heritage here, whether Aussie, Canadian,British, American and yes even more diverse ones like Africans, African American, Latin Americans, Asians and others such as Montserrat Irish mixed people here. Honestly the population boost would do us good and it would be nice if for once the foreigners we dole out citizenship to actually had something to do with Ireland.
Anyone else?

Been getting more interested in VR lately myself, though I've been considering the Rift S.
Obsessed
Well if you already have a gaming computer, the rift s is probably the better option, unless you really value cordless mobility/portability/ease of use.
Unfortunately I do not own a PC capable of running any decent rift games.
VR is a waste of money unless you play flight sims and racing sims exclusively. Most of the other VR games on the market are little better than tech demos.
Thread dead and full of bait when anime isn't posted but lively and non toxic when it is. There's a lesson to be heeded here boyos.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem particularly lively at the moment, mo chara.
>lively and non toxic when it is.
Anime posters are anything BUT lively, killing threads with their reddit-tier humour. But yes, if it's toxicity you really hate, anime is good in that regard
>killing threads with their reddit-tier humour
I've yet to see any evidence of this.
My experience with it, has been pretty damn impressive. It was one of those things I thought was going to be a bit underwhelming, but really wasn't.
I'm not into flight or racing sims. The potential social aspects of vr are what excite me. vr can fulfill the worn promise, of what the internet once was for me; the ability to have dynamic social interactions with strangers from around the world. So far the internet has somewhat failed on that promise. For all the potential, social interaction on the internet is largely predictable (in a way that can be fun), or varied but stilted and detached.
Having seen how people interact, and hearing people's accounts of social interaction in vr, I truly believe this is something different.
I guess that's where I differ in terms of what I value about online interactions. I much prefer text and image-based interactiond, not only because it allows me to mask much of the spaghetti that spews out whenever I open my mouth, but it allows people to think through their responses before committing to them and neutralises the ability of the socially adept to dominate conversations. It also creates a sense of detachment between the real world and the online world, which I value dearly.
I suppose this is one of the main reasons why I have no real interest in VR at the moment.
