ETH $280

1 year ago today it was $300

>what stops a theoretically unlimited number of people from creating countless clones of any cryptocurrency (with different names) and using them as a means of exchange?
Nothing, the worth of a cryptocurrency depends on its adoption, the amount of people that use it.

nm you're right, but still it's hard to come up with a "logical" or true price for a cryptocurrency since there's no established way of valuing it.

I was just saying that whether it's $5, or $500, or $5,000, there needs to be an underlying reason for it (a kind of NPV assumption)

Vitalik priced ether at $200. You can price ether.

People realizing that their internet money has no value outside of pyramid scheme investment and normies abandoned crypto after the last crash.

It's kinda like dating someone who eventually becomes obese.

why the fuck would I pay 200 bucks for 1 useless internet money?

The ICO era is over, it's getting to it's true price.
I would say way below $100.
Only Link can save ETH now ny giving smartcontracts value, otherwise I would advise to hold only BTC.

I put all my money into eth at $429. I want to die.

without a hard supply cap and improvements in tech (ICO adoption without excessive regulation), ETH will continue to bleed. also the founders are both faggots who look and sound unprofessional.

>inb4 but steve jobs and bill gates were both young

yes but they at least behaved professional and serious when it mattered, they at least delivered useful tech that was easier to use than competitors at the time.

also look at Sergey, he was dressed in 3-piece suits before LINK's ICO and soon afterward he started dressing like a disgusting fat slob. i don't care if he just wears a t-shirt and jeans, but at least look clean and neat.
