Yes. I made friends with some Koreans who could speak good English and we'd go out to bars and clubs. The food was delicious and I found some restaurants that I loved; in addition to bibimbap and kimchi, I had some of the best fried chicken and barbecue ever. I went to temples and a badass military museum, and spent free time in internet cafes which were actually very comfortable. I will visit again someday. Seoul is full of life
