yes
Seems like the right thing to do, but include Albania this time
>but include Albania this time
even if it were again called yugoslavia, I'd still have to explain to foreigners that I don't speak the same language as all those other Yugoslavians and that everything's a bit different up here, so what's the point.
That you want to alleviate yourself from the rest of us and feel yourself more prestige and European
well, I do speak a different native language than you, that's just scientific fact
Yugoslavia could merge all the languages together and call it yugoslavian
Not that I have anything against it, but isn't the thing with language barrier also true for Macedonians? They didn't seem to have a problem with it.
But think of all the nuclear bunkers you could have.
this
yugoslavia died with tito
Macedonia was historically the Serbian heartland at one time and Serbs and Serbian again exerted great influence there after Macedonia's annexation to Serbia, so theirs is a different story.
If Yugoslavia aimed to unite all South Slavs, why didn't they annex Bulgaria?
how did Slovenia avoid much of the violence in the 1990s?
>hurr kill your thousand-year old language because it would look more convenient on a map durr
>Guaranteed replies
No we all want it back but there's no going back, the future is a much bigger Yugoslavia, and everyone wants to be European only, in a Euro federation, not a gay jugoslav
I feel the same connection to a Frenchman and a German as a Slovene
for the same reason that we never accepted Serbocroatian, because we're too remote to be a part of that cultural sphere and matter in the local ethnic conflicts that arose due to the internal politics of the Ottoman Empire (which Slovenia was never a part of).
Seems like it would better for everyone of they combined into one larger nation instead of a bunch of small weak countries.

>hurr durr slovenci nisu balkanci
don't you guys all basically speak the same language tho? thats what the guy from geography now said.
Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks and Montenegrins all speak the same language. The other ethnic groups speak separate languages.
>not this guy
No, never again
Kosova is also independent
KLA pls go
In a way yes but you must add Albania to it too.
>Sorry man, but I'm from Nevada, I speak a bit different than all the other Americans, so please don't call me American.
I know for a fact Slovenes understand other Yugo languages.
My father still talks about Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia
While Slovene is still closely related to the other south slav languages, it is distinct from serbo-croatian. The shared intelligibility is just like how in other language families share word roots and grammer structure can help in understanding.
>Southslavia
>includes Kosovo (not Slav)
No.
