What’s happening?
>COINBASE LISTING - Currently Pending >STRONGHOLD USD - IBM building Stellar dependent “stablecoin” pegged to USD >stellar.expert (Analytics - it's back!) to >Fairx.io (Pending trading site) >StellarX.com (Beta Released!) >Stellarterm.com (Stellar Decentralized Exchange) >Stellarport.io (Stellar Decentralized Exchange) >Lightyear.io (Stellar for-profit unit)
Benefits of Stellar:
>ICOs and smart-contracts. Not turing-complete like ETH, but far easier to use >faster than all other networks (lightning set for 12/1/18) >decentralized (in governance, coin distribution and validation) >anyone can run a node >war chest for developers and worldwide distribution >transaction cost = effectively $0.00001 >strongly backed by IBM, Tempo >Stellar just purchased Blockchain startup Chain for $500 million USD >Stellar consensus protocol: 1000s tx/s (global scale) >1% annual inflation distributed weekly to those who own XLM (lumenaut.net/) >compatible with ledger (stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/) >LOBSTR mobile wallet for IOS and Android (lobstr.co/#start-section)
Popular ICOs on Stellar: >Mobius (MOBI) >Smartlands (SLT) >Sureremit (RMT)
What’s the bottom line? >Stellar is a fast, cheap and simple cryptocurrency that can function well for both fintech and everyday people. Stellar is ready to go right now. Not tomorrow, not in 2 years, and not hypothetically.
As much as I dont wish it Stella will soon lose its support and join the others in the bloodbath. Only something epic like muh government or bank adoption could save it.
going with the facts only: it has the same amount of tokens as XRP and it jumped to 3,6$ so that is realistic as it was tested and happened already.

I've been all in stellar since end of december and am very happy with it being a stable/safer option. While i believe in the tech - I think short term $1, middle-long term $5-10 max (minus any speculative bubbles). These are my targets for a reasonable long term valuation.
I'm in it because out of all the high risk options, i think it's one of the safest bets to 5x in the next year or two.
It has half of xrp coins in circulation. so $7.20 with a huge speculative bubble in the shorter term.
Noah Bailey
It's getting propped up by not being mineable so Bitmain doesn't have any to sell. Look what's happening to shit they mine like LTC and ETH. Last I checked xrp had twice the released supply.
Cooper Sanchez
It will have USD on the network backed by the most powerful central bank on earth by EOY
And you're scared. Fucking coward.
Logan Miller
Stellar giving the smackdown on Ethereum shiet
Ryder Stewart
I'm the XLM, XMR, LINK, ETH guy Watch what happens
Nathan Hall
Do you have any math/factual basis behind this?
Cooper Ortiz
sauce? Oh, you mean that random article on some basement tier blog.
Josiah Phillips
What evidence do you have to support this?
Stellar almost never dipped below 18 cents / 3k SATs since the pump
Jonathan Sanchez
none, really. It just "feels" like its going to join the others. I have noticed this behavior in Stellar. It always lags behind the alt market when its going down but also going interstellar first. Its just how it is, it has done this 50x already so its not completely retarded to asume its going to do that again.
Dylan Evans
I think aside from other people in crypto selling out their shitcoins and jumping ship, I think theres some big names right now accumulating for September or December
I don't think were going below 0.17$ with this amount of people watching Stellar
Michael Brooks
Leaked internal IBM slides showing deployment progress for CBDCs. Those slides resulted in cease a desist letters to every site that hosted them.
Matthew Evans
stellar makes me so happy. all in since oktober 2017.
while other alts are shit and have no development, Stellar always gets new features and news. my best investment ever.
Luis James
Agree with this. Short term, minimum 0.17 - maybe lower depending on BTC's mood. Long term, still lots of room for growth imo - dependent on the network adopters. I like where it's heading so far.
no, but i got them saved on my hard drive. they basically explain the whole strategy of the IBM Universal Payment solution based on Stellar. they mention the banks which use it, the countries and the timeframe in which they will join, and the central banks which have CBDC in development in stellar. (mostly small asian countries)
note: the docs were from 2017, so there should already be a lot more banks and countries active.
IBM is as prepared to on-board countless clients to their service, as it Stellar developers trying to make sure Lightning Network gets implemented properly
dare i say it, Stellar might be the one making the market bull this time
yeah i am in for this. i got 20k USD in stellar. either i make it big when stellar becomes the global standard protocol asset exchange, or i lose my stake. this is a risk i gladly take, because my research about stellar is very positive.
Kevin Ward
won´t do it since Jesse Lund asked to not rehost it and i like what this guy is doing for Stellar.
Josiah Lee
Oof, that's brutal. Especially after the week eth has been having.
Jaxson Anderson
I remember it when it was originally posted. They haven't hit all the goals they wanted to. But, they were internal goals so they should be more agressive than what they make public. I wish I'd saved the pic. I don't think most people in crypto realize that XLM is running laps around everyone on the legal and regulatory side.
Literally an inferior version of XRP why do you retards buy this Jed coin?
Christian Wright
market says otherwise nigger, you are about to lose 4k sats ffs lmao
Leo Garcia
Not a chance. This is near the floor of stellar. Been watching it a while.
Brayden Thompson
Market also says that ETH is worth $2k then $200 8 months later. Short term market doesn’t know anything about anything just a bunch of basement dwellers reacting to whales.
In all seriousness this coin has maybe 10-20% the fundamentals of XRP at best. It should not be surpassing it in price watch out!
Christian Butler
>comparing ETH to XRP and XLM >he has not realized that XLM has been holding steady while 99% of all alts have been getting killed >he thinks this is a fluke
Caleb Morris
The Cases against ripple need to get to a concussion first before the smart money comes in. No point in holding on to risk...if it goes up, you can still buy in after and get profit without risk OR if you hold it could do a bitconnect.
Think the first hearing started Thursday last week for the 1st of the cases...
Brayden Garcia
The cases against ripple all apply equally to XLM if not more so. XLM promises an ROI it’s more likely to be a security
Ryan Nelson
Isn't this necessary for fair inflation? And to have inflation on a blockchain at all?
Inflation is the one advantage stellar has, read what politicians have said about Bitcoin and being deflationary.
Xrp doesn't inflate, the developers would likely get any newly minted coins when they do need to battle deflation.
Jayden Hughes
XLM is not a security dumb fuck; XRP is and thats why it has 3 fucking lawsuits against it.
