What's with the anti-bitmain trolling around here. Do you (non-trolls) think it's panic mode for them? I've been saying hundreds of times on this board that this exact thing would happen. Bitmain has 1MM BCH Jihan has a personal stash of around 500,000 BCH Roger has almost 2MM BCH Jiang Zhuoer had 600,000 BCH in a single wallet until recently, only divided them into more wallets when people started pointing fingers. He has more than 1.5MM BCH overall Calvin Ayre had 400,000 BCH at the end of last year, he has mined at least another 100,000 Haipo Yang has 1MM BCH Emil Oldenburg has 1MM BCH Then there's also Satoshi's coins ============================================ Fun fact - there's only been 8.5MM BCH coins that have ever been moved. Let's assume there's an insane number of BCH out of circulation in cold storage and make it 11MM BCH. We still have 80-90% of the supply held by entities with 0 incentive to sell them. These coins will not appear on exchanges for probably half a decade. There's no float in BCH, this is why the flippening is inevitable. Out of these 11MM coins more than 10MM are actually NOT in circulation, they're kept in cold storage. Add in Satoshi's coins and this low supply means that as little as $10MM could bump the price of BCH into the five figures. With non-existent supply, even fabricated demand can skyrocket BCH's price into high 5-figures. Let alone real demand.
So yeah, blockstream trolls, don't diversify, go all-in BTC and troll, this is such a productive use of your time, kek...
Not having 1 bch per btc is stupid yep. But buying more than that is even worse. You just explained why BCH will probably fail. Your bullish post is actually very bearish.
Dominic Gonzalez
> You just explained why BCH will probably fail I just explained why $20,000 per BCH is inevitable. I'd like to see BCH's goals fulfilled, and whether it's BCH that fulfils them - I don't particularly care. But whether it's BCH or something else, BCH is hitting that $20,000 mark
Michael Diaz
this is why ill buy 21 of this dogshit coin as a hedge soon at 0.05
i know i will lose money but roger is a mental case and jihan might chink out completely
Jackson Davis
0 incentive to sell Lol being this delusional, futures are settled in cash or btc, btc is solidified king.
Lucas King
Smart man. You've been brainwashed by trolls, but I'm glad that you can see through their "sell your BCH" bullshit. People who're selling their BCH because blockstream trolls told them so are never meant to be rich, at best they are pathetic political pawns. Sorta like people who organize protests based on fake news. Even if you have a different opinion on BCH scaling and demeanour, you'll do what's right in order to make some cash. P.S. Buy slightly above 0.05, there's a chance that the rich people behind BCH will not allow it to drop that low as it may discourage previous buyers...
Tbh I don't think these were paid trolls, I think blockstream is now relying on 2nd gen trolls - retards who believed the paid trolls 1 year ago and go on like broken records.
>when you have to hire pajeets to shill your shitcoin so - 500 million usd won’t turn into - 1 billion usd Top kek
Elijah Lewis
Meh, I agree with him on all points, actually. Calvin & CSW have hinted towards some use case that would fill 128MB blocks, but the latter has such a pathetic history of overpromising and underdelivering that I'd be sceptical, too. Besides bigger blocks mean more expenses for Jihan, just before his IPO, no wonder he's opposed to 128MB blocks. He won't be a year from now if there's actually enough economic activity on the chain.
if the flippening happens, everyone will lose faith in Bitcoin
Anthony Jenkins
>getting cucked by chinese with their PoW shitcoin >Thinks he is a chad
Nathan Robinson
WRONG! If the flippening happens, everyone will start buying the coin that flipped it. This is normies we're talking about, they'd be happy to catch "the second train". CNBC will invite Roger the same day to talk about the real bitcoin, etc... That said, I'd be happier if BCH makes it before ETH (given my portfolio). But any of these 2 would do.
The bitcoin core shills are all communist reddit numales. That’s the reason they hate bitmain and the claim that CSW is Satoshi all while sucking Vitalik’s dick.
he's not actually wrong, you don't need blocksize increases if the network doesn't need it. bitcoin core needed it because it was bottlenecking the network and forced people to pay significant transaction fees
Dominic Nelson
so putting bitcoin's stability in the 'incentive' of five guys is the decentralized dream? this personality cult is so absurd yet this is somewhat expected. not everyone wants freedom, some people genuinely want to be led by others.
Ayden Wood
After a year you still believe there will be a flippenning ?
You cashies are more delusional than stinkies.
John Scott
The fact that half of the supply is controlled by 6 people that all know each other is the reason why BCH will fail.
David Foster
>he's not actually wrong, you don't need blocksize increases if the network doesn't need it. bitcoin core needed it because it was bottlenecking the network and forced people to pay significant transaction fees Why did they fork to 8mb and 32mb then?
Noah Baker
Nice made up numbers, faggot.
Colton James
>OP samefagging on suicide watch trying to dump his bags before jihan does
there is no need for a cap at all. miners will decide how large of blocks they are willing to mine and able to propagate. it is a conpetitive system, not a socialist system designed to subsidize raspberry pi nodes
Bentley Morales
>id like to see satoshis vision fulfilled
Shut up faggot. You just want to get rich like the rest of us.
Ryan Nguyen
>smart man >I tip my glass to you sir >dragonslayer
is that supposed to be a joke man, i cant even tell anymore. so BCH will rise in price because many coins are "probably" owned by people who "probably" wont sell before x100? can you at least put some logic into your next troll?
Jason Kelly
>designed to subsidize raspberry pi nodes what does he mean by this
After 9 years of Bitcoin's existence you still believe it flipping fiat? /s
You core morons really have no idea what an actual argument is
Dominic Roberts
Exactly. Only socialists and sheep mentality imbeciles are shilling Core
Gabriel Kelly
>keep blocksize small so people can run a "watchdog" raspi node >forces all transaction to fractional reserve ready lightning network >people running raspi nodes can't even afford to transact on chain
it's like the most retarded form of circular logic ever. Each step is more broken than the last. The blockstream plan only has enough buzzwords to convince newcomer moonboys. The only reason btc is worth anything is because it's squatting on the bitcoin name.
Joseph Brown
core didnt follow any shepards like ver jihan craig and whatever. did anyone ever shill someone from core here? no, but you see craig is satoshi and ver saved bitcoin shit constantly. every guy i know that shill bch is talking about these guys every single time
William Ramirez
roger and craig haven't sold their BTC for many years the writing is on the wall, you just dont want to see it
lol who from blockstream would you idolize? Adam Back? Luke jr? All a bunch of weak spine sellouts celebrating renting out bandwidth on a 30 year old cable satellite.
Ayden Harris
Probably, but it's also why it's gonna flip BTC So that even in the event of a spam attack, the mempool can empty itself in 1-2 blocks tops. You raise blocksize WAY before the average block reaches the limit. 128MB is way too much for the time being, though, imho. You faggots said the same about bitmain having 1MM before the actual numbers were made public. Jiang Zhuoer's address has been floating around here for ages, and Roger had 300,000 BTC in 2015 - where do you think most of it went? It's good to consider this as early as today, but Peter Rizun's experiment clearly shows that 1GB blocks might take a long time to propagate. 32MB is big enough so that it doesn't cripple the chain and it keeps miners safe from spam attacks. Give it a few more years so more miners can prepare for a fully unlimited version...
>So that even in the event of a spam attack, the mempool can empty itself in 1-2 blocks tops. You raise blocksize WAY before the average block reaches the limit. 128MB is way too much for the time being, though, imho. Blocksize doesn't prevent spam attacks though, due to eth type features its probably going to get easier to spam BCH than BTC using cryptokitties crap.
Bentley Cruz
There is no such thing as spam. A blocksize was only implemented because at that time, almost every miner accepted free transactions. Now, pretty much every miner charges at least 1sat/byte.
Paying customers, not spammers. For example, a month ago someone uploaded Animal Farm to the blockchain. They paid to do that. On btc that would be considered an attack.
Christopher Hughes
Here's something for those who want to learn a little:
fees = spam protection max block size = flood protection dust limit = prevents too many unspent transaction outputs (utxo)
if the rich people dumped their btc for bch they're a lot less rich than they used to be
Jonathan Russell
>Can't do basic math What price was BCH at during the fork? What price was BTC at during the fork? How many BCH did each BTC converted over give you? What is the price of BTC now? What is the price of BCH now? Was there more money in staying in BTC and BCH equally, in going all in BTC, or in going all in BCH?
This doesn't even take into account what happens if BCH ever comes into parity with BTC. I always wondered to myself, how can I support BTC when the people who back it can't even do basic maths?
Brody Long
They are playing the long game.
I'm syncing my BTC wallet right now to swap 1 BTC for 12 BCH. I'm a little worried that BCH will start gaining on BTC before the sync completes.
The reason why I think BCH will beat BTC in the end is because of the people supporting Bitcoin Cash and all the things that is happening on that chain. Just recently for example the Bitbox stuff for devs on developer.bitcoin.com, it's already been downloaded 30 thousand times. And I think the MoneyButton is just about ready, the goal was August 20:th.
Meanwhile I don't really hear about anything happening on BTC. The BCH/BTC ratio right now just reflects the advantage in familiarity BTC has, I don't think it's going to last.
Not to forget the new REST api for Bitcoin Cash at rest.bitcoin.com/
Nothing easy to use like that actually exist for BTC, which I found hard to believe considering how old bitcoin is. It's going to make developing for BCH much easier.
> Nothing easy to use like that actually exist for BTC, which I found hard to believe considering how old bitcoin is It's easy to accomplish once you kick out everyone not employed by blockstream. Good devs and business developers are all BCH supporters now.
yeah i mean how many times do you get the opportunity of a lifetime a second time? bitcoin cash is that second chance for everybody that missed out on bitcoin the first time they heard about it.
a lot of people on Jow Forums are going to miss it once again basically just because of memes
>second chance for everybody that missed out on bitcoin the first time they heard about it.
I remember Roger shilling this line on CNBC. But no, I'm not buying your bags. Even at these prices, its way overpriced.
Aaron Hughes
oh did he? cool! it is true whoever is saying it, if you want to convince yourself that bcash is a scam just go ahead. but don't off yourself over it in 5 years.
Yeah everyone hates bch is a corefag. You are no different than corecucks. They are getting cucked by banksters and jews. You are on the other hand by chinese.Well at least they have a smaller dick.
Aaron Scott
Are you stupid? What would I do if I had 500k BCH? I’d start a campaign claiming it’s the real bitcoin and when the ratio is about 2:1 maybe 3:1 I’d flip it for bitcoin
Hudson Perez
>create your own coin >total supply 1000 >transfer one coin into exchange and buy it for $1000 >you now have $1,000,000
Jack Rogers
Now is the time to go all in Bitcoin Cash!!!
OPERATION DRAGONSLAYER TO BE EXECUTED IN SEPTEMBER. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. SCREENSHOT THIS.
Chase Watson
Except this time it is... >be a group of multi-billionaires who like a coin >buy all of it except for a tiny bit of the supply >start buying that tiny bit of the supply for ridiculously high prices And the major difference being >everyone in this thread can control a significant part of this tiny bit of the supply if they just buy today
