I told my sister I would pay for her kids school and recommended a private school in switzerland where I know a professor it costs like $60k/year and it was a boarding school and she said no she's sending them to public school. I'm kind of enraged that she would do this and I said if they go to public school her and her family is out of my trust and out of my will she hasn't responded back

Went to a school that focuses heavily on creativity, and the kids I grew up with all came from wealthy families, except two kids who got in to fulfill poor people quotas. The teachers are paid enough to actually give a shit, and therefore behavioral problems are caught early on and they try to adjust them. It was a very loving environment and school was actually a very good experience for me. We went on many unique field trips that expanded my mind, and we had fantastic teachers. My music teacher used to be a famous musician, and though I don't do anything related to music, his enthusiasm for life and the lessons he taught me have inspired me throughout my life. Imagine teachers like Robin Williams in dead poets society. If any of you actually have kids (which is 0% likely just because), then make sure you send your children to good schools with few (((blue))) kids, kek

I agree , don't listen to these fools. You as the leader of your family , have every right to tell them what to do , as long as you act with their best interest in mind. You don't do it for selfish reasons , you do it FOR the future of these children and on the long run if you succeed , they would thank you for it.

Even if you cannot change her mind , you might be able to change her husbands mind on the subject , or get the kids on your side. By telling them how much better the boarding school is , and than they would nag her to send them there themselves ! Remember that when talking to kids , depending on their age , you might need to talk about the aspects of how cool it is and good for them socially , rather than the obvious benefits to their education(Which are not that important to most kids). If they are of the right age , you can even use the "It will help you get a lot of babes" argument quite successfully.

Sort of agree with you OP public school is shit, I went to it. At the very least get her to send them to a better school nearby, she probably doesn't want to be to far apart from her kids is why too. There most definitely is a good school in the US you just have to do a bit of research. I personally wouldn't send my kids away as doing so would severe close family bonds and possibly lead to resentment or coal burning. Some things are best learn from the parent.
