MAINNET IN 2019 + PROOFS
Isaac Morales
Ryan Mitchell
yes
the icebox is just a list of additions that don't need to be completed
Joshua Walker
Not everything in the icebox is going to be completed for simplified mainnet
Anthony Nelson
>simplified mainnet
>simplified
what the fuck is this bullshit
Blake Thomas
There is zero chance for September release... Q1 2019 pilot release, rest of 2019 pilot testing.
Fully functional product sometime in 2020.
Take in mind we might see BTC at 3k and LINK at 0,10 by that time.
t. 100% in bagholder

Aggregation without reputation.
Brody Taylor
Read the December post newfag
Christian Evans
While you may be right, I wouldn't look at the icebox as evidence of this. Many of the items in the icebox can be considered 'nice to have' things rather than must haves for mainnet.
Asher Smith
How big your bag?
Jace Flores
>mainnet without the hardest part implemented
Jaxon Fisher
THIS
We've been telling "mainnet in September" since March !!! HALF-YEAR AGO !!!! And now, when September is around the corner, what did changed since March ?
Pivotal is full of tasks, zero announcements from CEO, zero ropsten tests... I really thought its going to be September but i dont see it anymore.. September is really close and ropsten is dead like it was half-year ago, noone is testing, noone is preparing for mainnet, dont get your hopes up.
Even if they release it in September, mainnet its going to be a ghosttown.
Camden Torres
Theres several hundred ropsten tests a day faggit
Jason Brown
January 3 2019 is likely also as its exactly 10 years after the BTC genesis block
Thomas Lewis
you don't even have ice in calcutta, pajeet.
Carter Torres
Sorry if this is annoying, but could you explain reputation and aggregation?
Henry Martinez
PSD2 IS FOR 2020.
Nathan Butler
Director of marketing was supposed to coincide with release of main net. We also have many other small organizations announcing partnerships with chainlink. This means they've been testing and are satisfied with the network thus far to say it will be their solution. Main net is around the corner.
Carter Moore
I hate guys like you, fudding for buying back-in cheaper. Biz brought you link and this is how you say thanks. Absolutely disgusting.
Well if you ever worked in an agile work environment you know that you first build a MVP and then extra additions. All the things in the icobox are additions being build after mainnet.
There are no tasks after 2 September.
The epics are almost finished.
I hope you get burned.
Ryan Morales
reputation speaks for it self.
aggregation make consensus tamperproof approval of all parties (api)
Kayden Garcia
Brainlet here, can you (or someone else) please explain what the epics are?
Jeremiah Miller
ChainLink is for swing trading
Cameron Phillips
Yes. They burn through ~17 tasks a week which puts them at ~3.5 weeks worth of tasks ahead of that node upgrade milestone dated October 1. most of the items below that milestone are easy or optional and could easily be released in an update rather than being required for mainnet, and a lot of them are related to other tasks and are likely junk tasks that just haven't been cleaned up.
The pivotal tracker confirms late September it will be demo ready, and by mid/late October it will be launch ready.
Asher White
Is 't reputation done by third parties? What does the team have to do for that?
Nathan Perez
Nice cropping you fucking retard
Lincoln Ortiz
The reputation system will work like their adapters do, where you can point to different reputation contracts which will track the reputation of nodes. Insurance won't use the same reputation system as finance or logistics so they've designed it to account for that. I suspect they'll release a default or two that devs can point to, but all the bigger industries will define their own through their consortium.
Jonathan Taylor
I think your right, but it seems they want to be on Circle CI's continuous delivery by september, which would imply they have customers wanting to getting their hands on an early version, and will be updated with the latest build in real time as they develop/test.
So we might see more interesting things on the ethereum testnests from september onward. Then probably months of testing, fixing bugs and adding features. Guessing Q2 2019 release.
If link really does have a bunch of customers lining up to try it out, the cat may be out of the bag come october/november and everything will be priced in from there until main net.
Jason Richardson
GODLIKE FUD DESTRUCTION
I AM FUCKING HYPED
Easton Johnson
So you need to pay gas to check reputation?
Christian Morgan
is biz really this retarded? has anyone here ever worked in a software company or any kind of business at all or are you all neet faggots? A year is literally nothing, in no way whatsoever would 2019 be fud.
Eli Lee
fucking retard do you need to pay gas to check your balance on etherscan?
Blake Turner
Oh so reputation isn't private? I was under the impression it was.
Jose Long
based and redpilled
Noah Murphy
based, thanks for spreading awareness to the less technical, but oh so faithful marines.

Oliver Roberts
It looks like he’s trying to connect to the WiFi network. He probably overslept and got there after everyone else.
Cooper Jackson
not even close. Look at the tesnet now..its not even an oracle network yet. You basically can run your own oracle but there is no network. Mid 2019 at best

The guy that tweeted this works for Thomas Reuters in R&D, and seems to be focused on blockchain.
>A key component in the standardization of smart contract-enabled post-trade processing of derivatives are smart oracles which pipe in data to the contacts. Thomson Reuters was the first large industry player to launch a smart oracle back in June 2017 with BlockOne IQ.

Amazing how the ChainLink Research Team finds shit like this, even if it takes a month to be found. Just a picture of a man's back. I have seen plenty of other similar pictures where he's just in the background of a frame or barely in sight, at meaningful events. He reminds me of the villain from No One Lives Forever or the suit guy from Half Life. He's always everywhere you look in plain sight but you barely notice him unless you're looking for him.

Wr0ng. If they continue at the current pace they will finish the icebox in 9 to 10 weeks
Keep in mind there have been weeks in the past where they had a surge of tasks completed (32 pts right before testnet)

Luke Williams
or more like as soon as service agreement tasks are completed. 4-6 weeks cap it
Jace Robinson
Can anyone see whats on the pages in the background?
Jonathan Diaz
also why the fuck is atoken needed for a technology bridge?
