>hurr durr nazis had the best uniforms!
cringe. it literally screams "we are the bad guys".
>muh hugo boss

wool is only good when it cold, the us (such a m42's) stuff is a better allrounder

It's a common trend for the bad guys to be the aesthetic

Parachute regiment mate. Looks like they were geared for anything.

Wool wicks moisture and is antimicrobial. Better than cotton for hot environments too.

Chads. I wish some in my family were in the paras but they all ended up in the navy.

>cringe. it literally screams "we are the bad guys".
That's the ringing in your ears of the Jews screaming that they were in every movie they've made since.
Germany's uniform was just the best updating of the 19th century aesthetic lineage to the age of dark, drab colours.
The idea that slick uniforms = bad is quite literally just propaganda, going well with the general anti-aesthetic propagandism of the postwar American establishment.
It's impossible to go against nature though, so the US in its scrabble for prestige as it sees its hegemony beginning to slip is going to be returning to its own WW2 uniform, which was probably the most aesthetic of the Allies, and is more clearly in the same 19th century lineage than the pajama onesies the US went to. If the trousers were the same colour as the jacket it would be about as kino as the Nazi uniforms.
