In a scenario in which all of Turkey's neighbours team up and attack Turkey all at once. Will Turkey be able to defend it self?
No outside interference

Easily. Most of those countries are pathetic. Only Iran can pose some threat, but I still think Turks would manage in defensive war.
Yup, the Iranian Artesh would be the only one who could pose a threat to the turks
the problem is that the Turkish front lines would be very stretched, which would give the Iranians the upper hand they need. I think Turkey would lose in this case
But the Iranian army is absolute trash though
Compared to their neighbors the Iranian Army and Revolutionary Guard are a formidable force. In a 1v1 against the turks, Iran would lose but would be able to hold their ground for a bit.
All Iran needs is for turkey to be distracted a bit , then they can just use their human wave tactics against the undermanned turks
>Balkan/Aegean front
Greece and Bulgaria have a total population of less than 20 million and at least our army is pretty useless. Greek army is supposedly well funded, but it's Greece so it's probably all stolen or goes towards pensions and salaries.
>Georgia + Armenia
Like 7 million people combined and I doubt their armies are in good shape.
>Syria + Iraq
I'd say rather useless
>Iran
Could probably make a difference.
Bulgaria's army is insignificant, so is armenia's, Georgia's, Syria is having its own problems so that leaves Greece Iran and Iraq. Turkey would have to protect its country from all sides so even if its neighbors are weaker and with a smaller population I doubt they would win.
You forgot Cyprus though
At most Cyprus is a stalemate and nothing of consequence to the bigger war.
Ofc we would lose. We can't even beat terrorists.
they would need to take defensive stance, mine the shit out of everything and embargo everything (keep in mind modern conventional warfare is biased in favour of defense)
the turks would be starved of resources, and literally starve to death
kinda how germany was in ww1
according to turkey's military doctrine army is supposed handle 2 full scale wars at the same time.
But what if Turkey goes on the offensive?
PKK controls 0% of Turkey's territory
It wont be easy but yes you can beat them
Turkey wins unironically
You can't embargo Turkey in that scenario. They still have Black sea access to Romania, Ukraine and Russia. And also sea access to the Mediterranean.
Obviously we're assuming the grey countries in the map are not supporting any of the sides.
>literally starve to death
you are literally a retard
people starve in city sieges
Yeah but we still can't annihilate them. Imagine us fighting with real countries. We would get fucked real hard
Quick! Invoke article 5, so we can tag in, Turkey!
Not being able to whack-a-mole terrorists doesn't always mean you have a weak military. America couldn't destroy taliban but it doesn't mean they would lose a war against a real army.
The way I see it (considering Turkey manages to stop the initial advances) they need to get one of the fronts out of the picture. The easier one is obviously the Western. They need to focus on defeating Bulgaria and Greece (capitulation would be obviously easier than actual occupation). Then when that's done they could concentrate entirely on the Eastern front, where Georgia, Armenia and Syria wouldn't be so hard to defeat. I'm not that familiar with the terrain and important cities there to figure out what happens next.
But they would destroy taliban if it was a real threat to America. PKK plays with our soldiers like toys. We need a professional army.
Gerogia, Armenia are both very mountainous, it would be a slow advance into both and i assume lots of guerrilla warfare
Iran is like Armenia on Steroids, Its mountainous and actually has the force needed to go against the turks. Iran would be the number one challange for the turks, but if they manage to take out every other country before Iran has a chance to counter attack, Turkey would have won the war
turkey would also have to deal with the fifth column made up of our kurdish brothers :)
>gre*k
>k*rd
>bros
Subhumans love each other. Color me suprised.
haha yeah, kurds are gonna backstab m realy good
A t*rk calling others subhuman is quite ironic
t.gr*ek aka old slaves of TURKS.
We call those Turks
Literally all Turkey has to do to collapse Iran is hit Kharj Island. 98% of their crude exports go through it. Knock it out (it actually is barely defended) and uh oh, there goes 80% of Iran's public revenue.
Even without that any slog heavily favors Turkey. Their government has higher approval ratings among its own citizenry, its economy is far more diversified, it has twice nearly Iran's GDP, the whole world to trade with (whereas Iran is de jure locked down with anyone in the U.S. sphere- so most of the world economy), and just a much more stable position in general (Iran's economic growth this year is forecasted at -3.8%, literally the second worst in the world behind Venezuela; they literally cannot afford a big war).
We black people were always slaves to others throughout history but now we have the upper hand
You forgot the fact that the Iranians are Ultra religious and will fight till death. Economy doenst matter to them. They will fight hard against the Turks + all those other blue cunts will help Iran.
how on earth is Turkey suppose to attack some random island in the middle of the Persian gulf while being at war with several other countries, its navy will be busy with Greece and Bulgaria.
Turkey would suffer immensely from war as well, Its neighbors could stop any imports and exports and devastate the economy.
What you said would make sense if Iran and Turkey were in a 1v1, but the Turkish army will be way too stretched to take out Iran quickly as well as deal with other countries
>You forgot the fact that the Iranians are Ultra religious and will fight till death
No they fucking won't. Entire divisions surrendered without firing a shot at the end of the Iran Iraq War.
You're exaggerating. Also Turkey's army is professional, the problem is in the leadership thanks to Erdo's schenanigans. It's a very well disciplined army that acts professionally even when given absurd orders (like every op inside Syria).
The Turkish army would easily be able to maintain two fronts in the east and the West. The propped up Greek army might be a problem, Bulgaria is very irrelevant militarily.
On the Eastern front, the Syrian army would be annihilated and routed by the airforce itself (this is logically what happens when you invade a NATO country with USSR army tactics and tech), and Yerevan would fall in a matter of days as well. Iran, depending on how determined they are, could prolong the war by sending in their entire male popualtion above 15 like they did against Saddam, but at the end of the day, they're fucked as well.
Turkey's land forces are split into 4 "armies", all responsible for their borders and parts of Turkey. It's not like if Greece started an amphibious invasion and Iran entered from nahcivan the Turks would be "stretched" in any sense this isn't the 14th century. The real question is if the 3rd and 2nd armies (Eastern fronts) would be able to hold against the Iranians, and how fast the 1st and 4th armies would wrap up in Western Turkey.
Literally just looking at the airforce of Turkey and the fact that they're developing their own UCAV's gives you an idea. None of these countries would stand a chance in a defensive or offensive war, regardless of how determined they are.
Le sea.
Syria and Armenia would probably fold to fully HAM Turkey-backed rebels and Azerbaijin alone, forget the Turkish army.
No because Kurds would support the invaders and shoot down their helis
No. Any country that has to fight even mere two fronts are having hard time, not to mention being attacked from EVERY side, not to mention economic impacts and that Turkey's military equipment is mostly a junk leftovers from Korean war.
This question, to its core, is fucking retarded
>Turkey's military equipment is mostly a junk leftovers from Korean war.
Aren't they developing their own jets and tanks?
The Turkish army is a defensive army literally designed for this exact scenario but including Soviet Russia invading as well.ยจ
Also tech wise they're far from sporting junk. If it's not NATO/U.S gear, it's locally produced Turkish tech, that is actually unironically pretty good.
Nice analyses, you're right the Turkish 3rd and 2nd armies will have to hold of the entire Iranian army all by them self. Turks have a technological advantage though.
People overestimate Turkey's army. It's been purged of actual competent officers and brought to shit, Iran on the other hand has a battle hardened army that could rape their way through the country on it's own
