The problem with Monero is that it isn't totally private, its mechanism has to do with hiding tx's in other dummy blockchains, and this can and will be figured out in the future. And all of those people doing illegal shit with it today are going to get v&. You can buy monero as a hedge just in case, but just watch in about 5 years there will be something that blows Monero out of the fucking water in terms of privacy. tech you cant even imagine yet.
