This is what went down. Awareness of huge problems appeared all along. The Silents and the boomers basically by this time just coasting to retirement. Literally amazed by the internet and how rich they were getting.

About the major problems snowballing, literally the common belief was that some brilliant kid would come and create the magic solution...
I saw this as suicidal delusion. In a rational world, you don't expect your kids to solve your problems.

As it stands now, the vast majority of them are burning their bridges with reality. There is literally no reason (or maybe ability) for them to take responsibility or fix anything. It would just be a bummer.

This is where it gets really ugly though.

As they age, something they didn't realize will happen- they will continue to live. So their lives were calibrated for maybe 10-15 years of retirement. They planned on doing nothing but loafing and vacationing, basically, before dying.

But they won't be dying. Which means they have another 10-30 years of existence for which they have no real plan or purpose. And in this time- ages 75-100- they are going to deteriorate.

They not be viewed as the Silents were, modest, distant and stoic. They will be viewed as absurd, tasteless, and even stupid. They will become crabby, irrational, and shut-in, paranoid and suspicious. Its not going to be pretty. I think one side effect we are seeing the leading edge is suicide.

Some are cool people but their values are fucked up-I know a guy who is real cool and inherented money plus got a ridiculously easy job that pays huge money and talks about how his lazy niece is on welfare. So I bought two stocks, CYDY a few months ago, and HLTH yesterday. Back after I graduated High School (2013) I bought a few other bio-tech stocks like AMBS and KBLB and made a few bucks off of them so I'm trying to replicate that success. CYDY already shot from $0.49 (where I bought) to like $0.61 but I refused to cell and now it's back to like $0.55. Are these good choices? Any tips for investing in penny-stock biotech industries?
