I didn't watch but he probably got carried since it was duos and he's never won anything in solos. dude has a terrible personality and isn't anywhere near as good as lesser viewed pros.
Jaxson Martinez
Because chances are even grinding 16 hours a day you still suck. Hard work is a meme not everyone can become a professional at everything.
Alexander Williams
do it then faggot let's see where it gets you
Jackson Howard
he played with some random with much worse stats than him. i think hes pretty good
im not a NEET
hmm
Ian Moore
That game looks gay as fuck. Why the fuck would you want to play it for 16 hours a day.
Josiah Murphy
>he played with some random with much worse stats than him looked it up, he played with someone from ghost, an actual pro. pros will usually have worse stats because they scrim instead of pubstomping on stream.
Brandon Miller
why is this shit all the rage? whats so special about this game? why are zoomers throwing hundreds at these pro gaymers? what the fuck is going on? all that money could be going into crypto
Jose Smith
The game is special because the building mechanic is unique with an extremely high skill ceiling. It's a good game that's f2p on every single gaming system including phones, I haven't really seen anything like it before.
Dominic Powell
A semen receptacle can make a baby in 9 months after being fucked. If the semen receptacle gets fucked 600 times, we don't expect 600 babies in 9 months. And that semen receptacle was called your mom.
just watched a video, most of the time is spent picking random shit from the floor and there is little actual fight, and when there is it sucks ass. Whats so special again? id rather play a shooter where there is real action
Xavier Edwards
>there is little actual fight, and when there is it sucks ass. Whats so special again? don't watch console players youtu.be/TN7VwlnXBgY
David Powell
There isn't an incentive for it, there are a lot of good players who don't get invited to this shit because they're not streamers or not entertaining, and even if you're entertaining, it may take years to pop off, in the meantime you're wasting a little money in a setup and time, and it's not like it's something you can put in your resume, you either do it forever or wagecuck a badly paid job.
It's not different from any artist, pro sports or gaming player, scientist, or whatever "follow your dreams" job, you just have to be good at what you do or wagecuck. With that said, I don't see it why you can't do it part time until you make it, since having a better paying job or something is still wagecucking, you don't lose much for trying
Carter Price
still sucks ass? guy insta building a roof while walking on it and shooting? makes no fucking sense. Guess each generation is actually getting dumber for them to enjoy this crap
Hunter Martinez
oh shut up you dumbass faggot
its special because its the new minecraft, people only play it because other people play it, the game itself is fucking dumb af and the building mechanics is lazy, calling it for "skill" is just absurd
Evan Watson
>Guess each generation is actually getting dumber for them to enjoy this crap
>its special because its the new minecraft, people only play it because other people play it People play both of those games because they're both incredible games. It's okay to enjoy popular things user.
Lucas Jackson
it was a kill based tourney and he got most kills on both days out of everyone in the comp
Colton Roberts
i played pro cod4 and fifa growing up. fortnite is fun man i'll admit it. good game albeit questionable competitively due to the rng nature of some of it
for every one successful streamer there are thousands and thousands of failures
Jason Smith
honestly can't understand how anyone could sit there and watch some negroid under their own free will when there are semi-intelligent and highly talented white streamers
Nathaniel Wright
Do it OP. Don;t listen to Those thousands and thousands don't really play as much as this guy. All you have to do it play as much as possible, while streaming, and over a long period of time you'll get people to join your stream and you'll eventually start winning games.
Brayden Jenkins
Fortnite is basically an unreal engine demo game. The building mechanic and highly destructible world is fun but I feel it all falls apart when it comes to the actual shooting. The only viable weapons in this game are shotguns and snipers because everything else takes at least 2 seconds or like 8 shots to kill a full hp/shield enemy. Even if you start shooting an enemy first they can instantly, with no cooldown, construct a 3x3m wall that blocks every shot. By the time you have destroyed it they have placed about 10 more walls, are about 10m above you and have healed up so it's pointless. Also the view distance is terrible, audio cues for treasure are buggy. The fun part is that for most of the round stealth, fighting or autistic click spam building are all viable. Just the only way to actually win is autistic click spam building.
Jaxon Cox
what you need to do is pick a game with few a strems on but has an audience you can milk. that is what this guy and sypher did with ESO. big fishes in a small pond, then broke out in competitive games.
>The only viable weapons in this game are shotguns and snipers because everything else takes at least 2 seconds or like 8 shots to kill a full hp/shield enemy. they nerfed shotguns and buffed smgs a while ago
Adam Martinez
onions generation
Levi Flores
you can continue a life of denial with shitcoins, believing one day you would make it for no reason. fortnite you would not make it, again, and again, and again.
Jack King
Guns can be tweaked all you want but it won't change the building mechanics. If walls took maybe 5 seconds to block bullets (can still be walkable instantly, but shifting the balance a bit more towards aggression than defence) I believe the game would be much less frustrating. Sadly the game is already popular so nothing will change. Seeing as this is Jow Forums, epic would lose too much of their audience by changing the core mechanic. Still well played to them for trying to make a shooter that emphasizes defence.
Alexander Wilson
they did recently nerf walls, then unnerfed a little. building is in the game, balance is autistic defense build vs chad ramp attack
Isaac Morris
>What's the point in trading shitcoins as a NEET when you can just grind 16 hours a day to get good enough at fortnite to join online invitationals?
Because you want to be doing both if you can.
Xavier Nguyen
Right. Because if thousands of neets will start 'winning 40k at least 8 weeks per year' and 'earning hundreds of thousands from stream views and subs'.
On twitch and in e-sports 0.01% gets 99.99% of spoils (until they're too old and can't compete anymore). Rest get the scraps. Might as well tell neets to start a career in McDicks and 'flip burgers 16 hrs a day' to 'get good enough' to become the CEO.
Elijah Hall
people should understand that everybody can't do this.
everybody can't be a winner in a big tournament and everybody can't be a streamer with thousands of live viewers
which means you dont even need to be good, you just need to luck out within the infinite pool of normies streaming fortnite
Brayden Johnson
literally all you need to do is become one of the best, win a tourney and then you have an instant streaming community
see: notvivid
Zachary Parker
But it's a fucking joke. People overdo the building thing, they become obsessed with being higher than the enemy and start spamming ramps and shit. The movement is slow as fuck. Weapons are hitscan shit except the retarded sniper.
Literally the first 15 minutes are spent gathering wood bricks and metal, you dont even need to bother with killing, just wait until there's like 10 players left.
It's just a god damn meme that made a mix of minecraft with the building aspect, overwatch with the autism for skins and the cartoony aesthetics, and the "realistic weapons" with spread from shitty games like cod
webm related is actual skill
>timing items to the second >overthinking player with positioning >fast speed movement >not fucking up on very precise jumps >actual aim needed
if Q3 was player for millions of dollars calling competitive gaming "esports" wouldn't be embarrassing.
>you can just grind 16 hours a day to get good enough
Yeah but that applies to almost anything. If you spent 16 hours a day programming or something you'd end up making a hell of a lot more money than that nigger, because that game is a fad and eventually it's going to go away. The problem is grinding anything for 16 hours a day gets pretty damn boring fast. With shitcoins it's not about grinding 16 hours a day it's about making a some good choices and sitting on them for a couple of years, sure it's more about luck than grind but yea. Most of us are here because we don't like grinding the same shit for 16 hours a day, whatever it is.
James Phillips
Minecraft was actually something and exciting and didn't pretend to be competitive. I remember when I first made my first underground base, the feeling of terraforming the environment was so brand new.
Putting ramps and shit i've seen before in other games like Gmod.
The cool thing is jumping with a ton of people. Actual gameplay is shit. Too much luck depending on where you spawn. Then spend 90% of the match gathering shit and breaking your pinky because the dumb ass need of needing to press a key to sprint when you will obviously sprint 99% of the time on a big ass map.
Then at the end just create towers and shoot other peoples towers down, if needed jump off the tower with your shotgun out, first blast then spam sub machine or something. TOO MANY fucking pointless weapons to keep kids entertained.
The actual fights are dumb because you have slow CS movement so this game is only interesting because you can build ramps and so on, other than that it's trash.
I mean zoomers had to create a meme bashing Quake in order to cope because they are too dumb to play it. Some big Fortnite player tried Quake on a stream and got absolutely destroyed. First time I tried Fortnite I got a couple kills on aim alone. If I actually put time on it I could be good, all I would need is to develop muscle memory for the building binds.
The fuckers don't allow you to practice building alone in a createive mode because if they allowed to do that people would learn that so easy that you would max out what the game has to offer so fast. So you can only practice in-game, this keeps people going back to play more and more.
So you unironically believe Bitcoin isn't going to $100,000+ in the next 10 years
Anyone that has been here for a while should have at least 10 BTC, if you don't then you must be a Fornite player.
Luis James
I've been a competitive quake player for 20 years and i agree that quake is the superior esport game. Unfortunately, quake champions was made ffor zoomers.. no picmip/light settings, weird ass match making and a bunch of other shit i hate.
Im old now and exclusively play fortnite because it's fun. The building shit is really hard to get top tier at when you're old though, so i'll probably never be sick.
Most top pros in fortnite have shit aim though, they are mostly good at building, positional awareness and whatever else.
Nicholas Jackson
I have tried fortnite for like a couple of weeks, never really got into it.
If at least like I said before, I could practice the building mechanics to develop muscle memory, but no, they can't ad a fucking creative mode for some reason.
A zoomer might be ok with wasting ages trying to git good at building during actual matches but I can't be fucked with that, just give me creative mode.
Until then I will not bother. I may play it again when there's creative after I learn being fast at building on my own without being annoying by campers with snipers on their towers.
Henry Martin
>I may play it again when there's creative it's been in the game for months
This news is from a june 28, and its only announcing its comming "soon" so it cant be months ago
I know it was added temporarily and they took it off again
Carter Thomas
it's available right now, so go learn how to build instead of blaming your old age.
Joseph Walker
Fortnite is such a zoomer meme ngl.
Nicholas Butler
also you all should be loving fortnite. Right now millions of children are being born into the idea of digital currency and items having value. Most of the popular streamers accept crypto and one of the most popular ones, tfue, bitcoin emotes and donation sounds.
Wyatt Jenkins
he has been grinding twitch for like 3 years+ and was a early 24/7 grinder of Fortnite, playing the off hours of 1 AM - 7 AM when he could get viewers.
Ethan James
playground is there right now and you get max wood in 2 big trees git gud fagit
Kevin Powell
>literally all you need to do is become one of the best, win a tourney
literally all you need to do to be one of the best, just win a medal in Olympics
literally all you need to do to be one of the best, just get a Nobel prize
literally all you need to do to be one of the best, just become a billionaire on Wall St
This is 'literally' your way of logic, in extrapolation.
If it is so easy and profitable to win a tournament against thousands of other players then why are you still here, on /biz?
Not good enough to 'just win a tourney' and 'be one of the best'?
Adam Barnes
Man, esports has changed a lot since the CS 1.6 days
Joseph Bell
Fortnite? Back in my days we played Rocknite Now THAT was a game
Because I'm not a NEET dickhead, i've already said this.
William Smith
So become one, when you make it you will make more money than waggieing.
Sebastian Wood
there is a playground mode to practice building. I cant be arsed, i barely play games but if i wanted to become top tier i would just spend 14hrs a day in there like them and 3months later id crush most of them. Id definitely do it if crypto hadnt made me enough money to not care about this.
Asher Lee
it's more about the social acceptance and awareness than people immediately going out and buying bitcoin.
Wyatt Jenkins
Lol I am actually doing this. Already made money from crypto. Im thinking about documenting it. Its been 3 days and I legit am already better then 90% of the players that get qued in my playground lobby. How funny would it be to show people how easy it is to become a pro if you just dedicate as much time as these streamers do to playing the damn game. Thats legit the only difference. They play the game for hours upon hours a day. Of course they will be pro level. From 0 to Pro. Would you tune in? LMK.
Lincoln Johnson
If you want to pay for my housing, food, etc, so I can play this game for 16 hours a day, I guarantee you I will become a professional
