I remember her telling my mom, that she left that place, because she wanted to become a biologist.
She saw that there was no way of achieving this as a cleaning lady, and gave up on it, but she did manage to gather some money to visit her family at some point.
All of her family were alcoholics, and when her mom saw her after years, she just called her a cunt, and told her to leave.
