Do Brazilians even go to portugal?

Because Portugal is full of moors while Brazil is white

200.000 Brazilians living in Portugal. There are 1 million in The US.

The Reina Unido was kino, I miss it bros.

I wish Brazilians spent as much time thinking about us as we think about them.

Is the counterpart of Latinos moving to Spain

But 200.000 is barely anything
and you guys speak Portuguese and look similar

why would they complain about you lol

*Hispanics, sorry

it is not barely anything, it's 2% of Portugal!!!
I wouldn't mind if they all lived in LIsbon.
But it's fucked up, they even live in small towns now, like mine, 65.000 in population, they even put their flags in apartment windows

Attached: 777.png (487x110, 8K)

I like Brazil and Brazilian posters and I have an IRL Brazilian friend who is really nice and funny

>But 200.000 is barely anything
200k too many
>you guys speak Portuguese
retarded Portuguese, I might add
>look similar
Brazilians come in all shapes and forms. There's blacks, there's whites, and anything in between. So, sometimes yes, sometimes, no.

>why would they complain about you lol
Why would we complain about being swarmed by people who grew up in a country plagued by crime and degeneracy?

This is the unfiltered view

That's like rejecting your child who grew up to be a criminal. Should've been a more responsible father. You deserve it and more.

rent free

Please ignore the wannabecool edgy anti-BRbros poltard ITT, I'm ashamed to share my flag with him

>they even put their flags in apartment windows

>butthurt

They don't and they are not. It's just banter.
They know the vast majority of Brazilians in Portugal don't cause trouble. But it's kind of ironic because if we were still part of Portugal and were Portuguese instead of Brazilians, that wouldn't happen. It'd be like those Portuguese island in the middle of nowhere. We just have different flags and different names.

other way around actually

caralho, que gostosa

I'm not trying to offend Brazilians, but if you were Portuguese would you like to surround yourself with people from a country like Brazil? Meme all you want, but deep down, you know the answer.

Attached: 1559723105058.jpg (620x465, 66K)

And while I agree that we fucked Brazil over in many ways, it was part of the empire. The gold meme is ridiculous, of course the parent country will try to retrieve riches from the country it colonized. Sucks, but it's the way it is.
Not to mention that it's not like us (Portuguese living now) are responsible for the fuck ups of people from the past. That's like saying Germans now are terrible people because of what their grandparents did or didn't do. Get over it.

Well, I wonder why we speak Portuguese and I wonder why there are so many Brazilians in Portugal....It's totally not Portugal's fault. Blame your own country for that the way you'd blame your father for not teaching you how to be man. If only my parents had raised me better, I wouldn't be such a failure.

you are wrong in that most brazilians have portuguese genes too.
African and Italian ancestry are more common, then it's between native american and portuguese.

>most brazilians have portuguese genes
They probably do, but people with FULL Portuguese ancestry are probably like 5%

Nah, m8. We were fucked from the start.
Shouldn't have brought so many slaves and should've focus on developing the land. Maybe we'd all be speaking Portuguese instead of English by now if you were as good as the British. See, Portugal would be at a better position by now.

Of course, people from shitholes move to slightly more civilized countries

>Blame your own country for that the way you'd blame your father for not teaching you how to be man. If only my parents had raised me better, I wouldn't be such a failure.

I get what you're saying, but how the fuck am I responsible for what goes on in Brazil? Those people moved to Brazil, in search for a better life, and became independent. After that point, you can't start pointing fingers at us. I really wish things had turned out differently, but it's not like people should guilty over stuff that happened 200 years ago.

Lets put it like this, the ones that go to Portugal are even more annoying and retarded than the ones who post on Jow Forums

Some Venezuelans fly their flags here as well. Makes me a bit uneasy. I once saw a Cuban flag in downtown too

I'm not an expert in Brazilian history, but wasn't Brazil starting to become civilized at one point? And then the freed slaves moved into the cities in droves (hence the favelas) and mixed with the people living there.

the romans did far worse to us, but you don't see us blaming them for our faillure.
Romans extracted gold, silver, copper and iron to near depletion in most places, genocided the population and had incompetent idiots governing the colonies, which lead to revolts (and the punishment for rebelling was decimation - i.e execution of 90% of the males from the tribes/towns revolting)
this lasted for some 300 years, at which point we had assorted barbarians rampaging through the land and afterwards some arabs. That is some 900 years of exploitative, foreign ocupation (a couple hundred more if we count the less exploitative leonese rule).

But again, it would be silly to blame them for our faillures. We built our country and we did the mistakes, everything else is history.

most brasileans are not troublesome, far from it. But many (not to say all) are not used to how things work here. Their behaviour makes them easy targets for less legal activities, especialy the self-segregation and the excessive desenracanso (you call it jeitinho, it's the same shit).

I deal a lot with the brasilean comunity, but things are getting pretty bad as more people come, while there are no place for them in the major centres - so they do some jeitinho here and there, and eventualy you start to see them living like chinese and working on the limit of law (a fair number of them don't have working visas).

At this rate, in a couple of year we get another public outrage against brasilean emigrants, like the ones in the late 90's and early 00's - also due to excessive emigration in a short time frame.

>Sweden

I wish Brazilians spent any of their time thinking.

>they even put their flags in apartment windows
I wish they'd make this here too

Politically we reached our apogee during the Empire (constitutional monarchy and 67 years without coups). The First Republic inherited some of this sturdiness but it was often highly unstable and collapsed in 1930. In the 1950s Brazil was turning into a cultural powerhouse (up to this day our best artists and intellectuals are from this generation) and between 1930 and 1980 its economic growth was comparable to present day China's. Crime rates were always low, perhaps just a little higher than the US' until the late 1980's. Then the Military took over power and ruined our politics, the leftists established a cultural hegemony and persecuted anyone who would oppose them, drug trade came into prominence, and the world sees the result now.

Tuga women are so, how should i say, tasteless?
They aint good looking enough for white women.

>>literally creates Brazil and anything related to the country Brazil has its roots in Portugal

We 'created' brazil, the same way Britain 'created' Pakistan or Keyna. We did not. Brazil was a portuguese extraction colony like any other we had around the globe, from east asia to africa from south america to timor. And your roots are not the same has ours of course, mainly because you are a multiracial country, roots of brazil falls with amerindians blacks and europeans togheter, not with the portuguese nation.

>they literally moved their capital at some point in history to Rio de Janeiro

The court escaped to one of our colonies because of the french invasions (Napoleon) and war. juts that.

>all brazilians have portuguese ancestry, with the exception of people with "recent" European background from a few Euro countries, those tend to be white because they don't have portuguese genes like the others

Someone mixed is not portuguese anymore, sorry, they may have some portuguese blood there, but it's not Portugal anymore. That's hard but that's the truth. If you have a glass of wine and put there 3/4 of Vodka, it's not wine anymore.

>gets mad at a few brazilians who immigrate there and is always trying to ridicule us on imageboards, despite being a literally who country

We seriously don´t care about brazil, in fact no one cares, people just dislike you like the majority of int dislikes you, because of the way you behave. About immigration yes, it's bad and we don´t like it, and they are not so few.
Europe is on a cross rad right now, Portugal France, England, Spain belong to the natives, not to non european immigrants, we will now allow the destruction of our countries.

That's too much, even if it was only 1 of them that would be too much. Brazilians are aliens, they don´t fit or belong here.

Technically Portugal did create Brazil when the states of Maranhão and Brazil were fused together. And even further when João VI alone built the basis of the Brazilian state and created the Kingdom of Brazil. And he stayed in Rio for 7 years after Napoleon's defeat and only returned to Portugal after the Porto revolution (and yet still he wanted to send his son in his place)

Dude, Portugal has 1000 years of history, we had colonies all around the world. We have even cerated the city of Nagasaki in Japan, but the people that live in those places (angola, mozambique, brazil, goa) have no relation with us these days.

>they even put their flags in apartment windows
Lel, brazilians do the same here

>The world is like
>Damn Brazilian immigrants!

Attached: braziliansintheworld.png (316x846, 28K)

are you dumb or just pretending?
Portuguese ancestry is by FAR the greatest component in the ethnic composition of brazilians.
The average brazilian is 60-70% european, those european genes coming from portugal in 90% of the cases.
People with italian ancestry are 10-15% of the country and most of them are only partially italian.
African ancestry is much less than you think. The average black brazilian has ~40% african ancestry and some ~50% portuguese ancestry, the rest usually being native ancestry.
native american is a relatively small part of our composition. most brazilians have between 5-20% native ancestry.

Portugal's other colonies were either small outposts or fiefdoms ruled by a small white elite. That's not Brazil's case. So much that during the apogee of the golden mining in theBrazilian highlands, João V issued a law restricting immigration to the colony in order to prevent the depopulation of Portugal. In the early 18th century alone 600,000 Portuguese left for Brazil.

Why do brazilians spend their time obsessed with Portugal when portuguese people dont care or think about brazilians?

That's not the case.

favelas and poor blacks have been a problem since the end of slavery in 1888, but it got much worse during the mid 20th century. The country started industrialising and it urbanised too fast. Every poor nigger and his 20 cousins moved to the big cities to get a job in the factories. So the favelas exploded in size.

daily reminder that in colonial times, portuguese people born in Brazil were considered just as portuguese as the european ones. Gregório de Matos wasn't referred to as a brazilian, but as a portuguese. They considered Brazil to be an extension of Portugal, and any poortuguese who says otherwise is just a butthurt retard

>portuguese people dont care or think about brazilians?
lmao, they're always seething about us. they can't handle seeing our movies and shows being half of their TV programming and all the best players in their football clubs being brazilians.

>Portugal's other colonies were either small outposts or fiefdoms ruled by a small white elite
Brazil would be the same if it wasn't for THESE guys. They were the real colonizers of Brazil. They were the ones that pushed back the Spanish well beyond the Tordesillas line. They were the ones that claimed Brazil back from the Dutch (the Portuguese king was ready to give the colony away and recognize Dutch rights over it). They were the ones that wiped out the natives and their Jesuit masters after the Jesuits fell out of favor in Portugal. Haven't it been for these guys, the Portuguese presence in South America would be restricted to a few outposts in the coast, which would all be lost to the Dutch and not recovered.

Portuguese are white and handsome. But only the one who arent moors

Who are the Spanish conquistadores compared to these CHADS?

Wholesome towards me, rude towards some lads here.

Please come here and replace the Brazilians, thank you.

>166 000
that's from 2015, well before the current wave. It's >200 000 now, if you ever degredade yourself into using ubereats or glovo or any other of those companies, you'll either see a brasilean or a indian/paki serving you.

>Bring back the Ukrainian wave back again please.
lolwhat? the ones in our major cities are often in organized crime, like russians, romanians and moldovans.

The ones going to small towns were decent people, though.

>portuguese people born in Brazil were considered just as portuguese as the european ones. Gregório de Matos wasn't referred to as a brazilian, but as a portuguese. They considered Brazil to be an extension of Portugal, and any poortuguese who says otherwise is just a butthurt retard
yep, this is true.

My parents were Ukrainians.

LMAO
brazilian education
Only Angola is 15 times the size of Portugal. Mozambque, at least 8

neither brazilians nor portugueses here know anything about portuguese women lol

I never undeestood that tho my cod brother.

What the fuck are doing all those monkeys here

>portuguese people born in Brazil were considered just as portuguese as the european ones.

Of cousre if they were ethnically portuguese/europeans they would be portuguese, what dumb question is that? If i travel to visit Japan i become japanese? or if my parenst were working there and i was born there i would be japansese? of course not.
And nowdays, a brazilian or a colombian or a angolan or whatever, ethnically has nothing to to with Portugal or with Spain or with France etc.

>fiefdoms ruled by a small white elite

>lmao, they're always seething about us

We just want distance from you. Look above it's always brazilians that are obssesed with Portugal, creating threads about us.

I want to visit Portugal one day.
Looks like a nice country and I've heard its cuisine is pretty great.
Probably cheaper than Spain for tourism too which is a plus.

I remember when i went to Barcelona i counted 10 argentinian flags flying off apartments

Huh, actually, he's right. You might check out your African colonial history again. Only in 1900 you got big colonies in Africa, before that, it was only coastal outposts.

Attached: Scramble-for-Africa-1880-1913.png (2311x1142, 157K)

>the ones in our major cities are often in organized crime, like russians, romanians and moldovans.

Never seen any of this. The Ukrainians I've met in Portugal (North) were all class people.

oh my god, not again, another chapter of the chimpanzilian insuferable inferiority complex.

Ukranians behave well in Portugal, they are euro's like us and work hard. africans or brazilians on the other had cause the troubles.

I already disliked Brazilians due to how they behave here, but seeing how they behave online.. Jesus Christ.

>coastal
>owning lands 10 times the size of Portugal all around the world.

Only later majour inland expedition were done by brits, portuguese, and belgium colonalists.

>but seeing how they behave online

And the ones who post here are usually educated, middle-class and whiteish. Now imagine the rest.

Brazwho? (Brazoo)

this

>africans or brazilians on the other had cause the troubles.
Excluding Mozambicans, who actually tend to integrate very well. Know plenty myself, and according to statistics they're less likely to be incarcerated than the native population itself.

>who actually tend to integrate very well

I wish they did not integrate, their place is not over here.

>nd according to statistics they're less likely to be incarcerated than the native population itself.

I doubt about that.

>We just want distance from you.
Seething

>Look above it's always brazilians that are obssesed with Portugal, creating threads about us.
Let's get a few things clear, brownboy.
>This place is an INTERNATIONAL board, with purpose of having discussion about foreign cultures
>Brazilians create threads about many different countries, and that includes Portugal. We have the freedom to do whatever we want
>Likewise, Portuguese posters also create threads about many countries, including Brazil
>There are more Brazilian posters than there are Portuguese posters, so logically there will be more Brazilian created threads
>Brazil is NOT the only country that creates threads about Portugal
>You're NOT obligated to interact with Brazilians, you do so out of your own choice. You want "distance"? There's a country filter, use it.

That's it. You're all welcome.

Attached: 1530907309384.png (785x757, 46K)

Face the truth, tuga. Your empire was for 90% of its existence just outposts alongside the coast, very similar to the Dutch. Brazil was the ONLY exception, and that's because of the local colonists efforts, and they remained loyal to Portugal because your government gave them VERY generous benefits.

In literally every popular Portuguese video on YouTube there's hundreds of Brazilians chimping out in the comment section.

Rent-free.

My parents came from Chernihiv. I was born here and I was always treated right by the Portuguese. I was never treated as foreigner (besides sometimes where you know, my looks can make stand out a bit), and my parents did the utmost to integrate.
I know I'm European and all, and don't look Pardo like most Brazilians, but if you can't integrate here (like Brazilians who keep speaking in their accent, Gypsies or Africans) it's entirely up to you. People here do everything so you can fit in.

They only show up on the videos appear on the "recommended videos" tab. They click on it because it's in Portuguese, that's all.

So what's the surprise people don´t like you macacos?

Why the Portuguese insist on denying Brazil as part of their history?

Attached: atlas_do_brasil_pg33_expans__o.jpg (700x683, 349K)

They say they don't like us, but don't use a country filter. It's all on them.

Attached: 1545441191270.png (1200x396, 187K)

Face the truth chimp in the xv century we already controled half of the seas, from the indian ocean to the atlantic and at the mid end of the xx century we were still controlling (the last european country) owning countries 6000 km of distance away of us in the souther hemisphere while you are nothing on world history besdies a gigant shithole riden with crime.

Never met anyone who dislikes Ukrainians. Everyone has nothing but praise for them.

Making up facts won't change history, fellow chimp. Brazil was your only colony of note, the rest were all mere outposts until 1900, then the real European countries, when partitioning Africa among themselves, took pity on you and let you keep the leftovers they didn't want, on which your little man dictator clinged as if his life depended on it because muh Portugalidade, "Portuguese are Africans".

Attached: basedsalazar.jpg (236x336, 24K)

Yes it was the worse colony - brazil, no much doubt about that, at least in the crime rates and then mogrelization and third worldism etc even if we have nothing to do with brazil or angola racially or culturally speaking. brazil it is indepdant from us for centuries.

LARPing as Nazis in the 1930s doesn't make you a great country, chimp.

That was well played by Salazar for the UN tards, kek, "muh portuguese are facsists, muh portuguese are racists and are worse than appartheid" ul

meanwhile there were 2 Portuguese Colonial Acts - African indigenas couldn't go to Metropolitan Portugal.

Yes brazil will teach us what a great country is.
