i like this. ive imployed this strategy in a few areas of my life and i have improved.

also nytime i feel my life is falling apart, i play the sims and just watch my character become a master at everything, it is inspirational and teaches me anything is possible

this will disappoint you but really the main thing you can do is force yourself to socialise. at first i would practice by speaking to people on omegle because if i messed up i could just end the conversation and never see them again. then i'd start with strangers, like making small talk to the lady who worked at the convenience store before working my way up to the other kids at school, luckily my group were very nice and sometimes they would just talk to me anyway so i just did my best to keep up the conversation they started, eventually i got comfortable enough with some of them to just talk to them like normal people do. "fake it til you make" is good advice too, no matter how unnatural it felt i would force myself to be confident, again i was fortunate enough to be passable and was able to hide my power level well. if self-esteem is a part of the problem then working out and finding a hobby can do wonders, i started running and playing guitar for example. but these don't replace just good ol' fashioned facing your fears, they just make doing so a bit easier.
