oops

No, but the homeopathic, naturist, anti-GMO and anti-Nuclear energy groups are.

it has a small, very small presence
there was a small measles outbreak a few years ago among people who didn't vaccinate and the media being the media put the spotlight on those people, inadvertedly (if not intentionally) bringing more attention to those nutcases

No. But they have a point. What is causing the increasing of autism?

I don't think it's vaccines anyway.

there's no increase dumb fuck, the rates have stayed the same. Diagnostics have just gotten better

Maybe the evolution of diagnostics play a part.

Not popular but some dumb h*redim believe in it

>THIS THING GO UP AND OTHER THING GO UP THEREFORE THING MUST CAUSE OTHER THING GO UP DURHHHHHH

How old is anti-vaccination in the US? I bet those cunts are vaccinated themselves.

autism hasn't gone up, the diagnosis rates have. The "increase" is as a result of better early diagnosis and intervention, whereas previously it wasn't recognised.

I thought the anti-vax movement really started in Britain with this fag

overall no but in some protestant christian dumps(we have our very own 'bible belt') it seems to be quite popular

Really makes you think.

But they don't vaccinate because of muh God's plan. That's different. Americans don' t do it because retarded.

I'd guess the increase of radio waves.

It's hard not to diagnose autism.

Jow Forums

The same reason PTSD didn't exist before 20th century. They literally didn't know what it was and what to look for, in the past the majority of people with autism would just be seen as weird/nutty people and that would be the end of it.

>It's hard not to diagnose autism.
Yes it is, it can be incredibly difficult and requires skilled clinicians to do so.

It's on the rise here and if the Party was hard on it we'll be labelled as "oppressing free-speech", "totalitarian", "dictatorship" by detaining "free thinker" so the only way to address this issue was telling people to vaccinate their kids (which does jackshit against anti-vaxxers)

>Vietnam
>France
>Greece
>Italy
The fuck?

I feel like it's such a reddit issue. Only met one anti-vax person irl and even they were skeptical of themselves.

It just gets diagnosed more. Like adhd and add. Many kids don't have adhd or add but their parents think they do so they diagnose them and give them calm down pills even when they don't need it. It only becomes an issue if you're in your teens and still act like a sperg. Kids are hyperactive anyway. I've seen children in special ed classes that are quiet but autistic? naw.

>I feel like it's such a reddit issue.
what does that even mean.

What's wrong with france?

Attached: vaccines.png (1299x1023, 282K)

that reddit talks about it way more than it actually happens irl

and how would you know that?

why are they all women?

People are getting measles in first world countries at an increasing rate, a disease which was all but eradicated. Due to the increase in anti-vaccination freaks.

the fuck you mean
because measles was basically dead and now it's back up again which makes it seem like everyone and their cousin is an anti-vaxxer

>the fuck you mean
exactly what it says in my post.

Hmm maybe it's the hordes of diseased third worlders ngos and Hebrews pile into white nations and not a dozen soccer moms letting little Cletus get a flu.

>because measles was basically dead and now it's back up again
Mainly due to less people getting vaccinated. Do you not understand how vaccines work?

Fuck off you braindead piece of shit Jow Forumstard.
Fucking kill yourself.

Nah, not really just look for the drooling retards screeching in the corner. Simple as.
It's radiation, they all say radiation is bad for you but they're pumping it through the air and boom there's millions of kids with adhd and autism.

What the fug

he makes a good point, and you don't have to be antivax to agree with him

I’m pretty sure it’s effectively illegal to be anti vaccine here. Seems more like a burger soccer mum with a kid named Cayden thing.

This argument has been consistently refuted, get with the times. Changes in diagnostics methods is a factor but it certainly doesn't account for the whole increase. For instance ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2800781/

>Conclusion Changes in practices for diagnosing autism have had a substantial effect on autism caseloads, accounting for one-quarter of the observed increase in prevalence in California between 1992 and 2005.

Concerning "soccer moms", statistics show that anti-vaxxers tend to be prosperous and highly educated. seeker.com/anti-vaccination-parents-richer-better-educated-1770662854.html

This agrees with my own personal experience. I've also noticed that there is noticably high number of doctors among them.

Could be pollution or Internet. People seems more introverted nowadays

I guess it's the combined effect of several changes in lifestyle. There could be medical reasons but I always felt like early access to computers and, especially, smartphones has got to be a factor.

>I've also noticed that there is noticably high number of doctors among them
Not really.

>your cunt
>do you oppose Islam as a country?

This is just my personal experience. I know a few anti-vax doctors who say that they know many more anti-vax doctors. No stats to cite here, of course.

The thing is doctors are can't really make their anti-vaccination opinions public without risking their careers. On the other hand, they get to observe a disproportionately high number of patients with possible vaccination side effects. This makes them predisposed to a bias against vaccines, whether rational or not.

As a medfag I have yet to encounter a single one. Is antivax a big problem in Russia?

>On the other hand, they get to observe a disproportionately high number of patients with possible vaccination side effects
This is not true. Vaccination side effects are extremely rare.

No he’s a fellow American, his education is poor.

Amlo recently declared vaccines anti-constitutional and is giving that budget to La Luz del Mundo.

I don't consider it a problem but I understand that for a society to be safe the vast majority has to be vaccinated. Even if it does provide a certain risk. If they are, then the select few can decide that to then these risks outweigh the risk of a vaccinatable infection. It's a thing that's very difficult to regulate legally though.

Russia... Well it's reasonably popular here (in Moscow at least). On par with the States, I guess.

This is the reasoning these specific doctors gave me. They've seen to many kids develop various health issues immediately after being vaccinated.

*to them
*too

Source? I've been completely cut out from our national news for past few months for my own sanity's sake.

Either way, the movement itself is not big in Mexico, see And pic

But this is not how medicine work and it's absolutely terrible reasoning.

The reasoning is certainly not infallible but doctors are just people. They are susceptible to bias. But they might also be right. Frankly, there isn't enough impartial research on the subject.

It gaining traction here in the USA, mostly a combination of spoiled rich parents and uneducated white poeple.

Oh come on. There has been tons of research on the subject and vaccines have been proven safe every single time.

>but doctors are just people. They are susceptible to bias
As a doctor you should know better. This is no excuse whatsoever.

Vaccines come with some small risks but that doesn't mean you shouldn't vaccinate your children

Unfortunately, as tends to be the case with applied sciences most of the research available here is in the form of "studies" aka a bunch of stats. Now, you're telling there's plenty of data published that shows that vaccines are safe. But as a Google search will show there's also plenty of statistics that show the opposite. You might say that some of the latter don't meet the high standards of academic publishing. I'll say that this is because academic publishing is a business which is highly influenced by the health care lobby (and all the other lobbies). And we're back at square one.

This is why I said "impartial research". And that's something we shouldn't hope for in the foreseeable future.

This is why I love mathematics.

Radiowaves are quite literally too long to affect you they just get reflected or go around your skin

There are so many fallacies in your arguments I don't even know where to begin.

Good luck to you. I guess the success of modern medicine is not real.

No only americans are this retarded.

premature cutting of the umbilical cord.

anyone who acts slightly weird nowadays is diagnosed with autism
