USA has more variety of places to live. If you want to live in isolation, you can. If you want to live in the mountains, you can. If you want to live in a big city, desert, beach, etc. I find it a more attractive place to live for these reasons.

The US has some issues (poverty, seriously rising suicide rates, stagnant wages since the 1980s, etc) but it's much better than Central America or China.

This is equally true of large nations like Canada, Australia. They have a much better standard of living than America and have low population density, ecological diversity, and major cities like Sydney and Toronto.

Canada has twice the economic/social mobility we do, the Nords more than twice as much. So you have a much higher likelihood of getting rich almost anywhere else in the western world than America.
