Survey:Should men shave armpit hair?

I trim mine but would never shave it

men are supposed to be manly and thus hairy with a nice beard and a (semi)bald head... if you don't meet this criteria, then you're a feminine intersex freak

As everything when it comes to personal grooming it depends on the person, i believe it's not necessary for most people, but some guys do have some extremely dark and weird armpit hair that extends well beyond the pits so they can do what they feel comfortable with. It doesn't really matter, i think it's weird to shave but one friend of mine has to use clinical deodorant and shaves because he claims the deodorant is sticky on his hairs, i wouldn't shave, but i have nothing against that as long as is not following a trend, if you want to shave your chest, legs etc, do it for you, but not because some fag on TV says it's cool.

Nah, i always wanted to have a wizard beard since i was a kid and was so disappointed to see nothing grow.

The Sunnah indicates that it is prescribed to remove pubic hair and armpit hair. Al-Bukhaari (5889) and Muslim (257) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The fitrah is five things – or five things are part of the fitrah – circumcision, shaving the pubes, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, and trimming the moustache.”
The wisdom behind the prescription of removing the hair from these two places – and Allah knows best – is that removing it helps one to attain a perfect level of cleanliness and prevents what could emanate from them of bad smells if the hair was left without removing it. And there are other reasons and wisdom behind it.

Shaving is not haram. It's recommended to shave your pubic hair once every 40 days. Logically, you and I are living in tropical SEA climate where the humidity is 100% most of the time and the sun that always shines upon. So keeping your hair short and especially in those areas where the smells pproduces unwanted BO, then you should remove them, unless you're a chink of course.

No, but when I was in boot camp a drill instructor made a recruit do it until graduation. That situation is still probably one of the funniest things I've witnessed in my life, and it was almost 10 years ago.

Nah, I tried shaving them once, I actually sweated more without hair than with hair. It prevents skin to skin contact, reducing body heat retention.
