>I freaking hate immigrants they just steal jobs and ruin American identity
>why yes I am proud of my Irish heritage
I freaking hate immigrants they just steal jobs and ruin American identity
Not white until 1920
american identity is incredibly linked to immigration
Wasps btfo
they should go back to being fucking subhuman slaves fucking irish
fuck you slave boi, this is american land for americans not for subhuman irish whores
I'm 0.1% Navahoe ypu freak
But I’m ashamed of my non colonial German and Irish part of my ancestry
They were actually white until the civil war and became non-white because they largely supported the CSA.
How common is it for Americans to actually be related to people around during the revolution?
most people probably have at least 1 part of their family tree that goes back to those people ,if not more
>Y*nkee niggers lying again
Not surprised. A lot og Union soldiers were fresh-off-the-bost immigrants.
Hmm... A brit that supports immigration... Is youre skin brown by chance?
they were never non-white you disingeneous rats
they we're never barred from being citizens of the us when it was restricted to whites only and even when they were hated they were referred to as "white niggers"
Probably more than you think. I have ancestors on my mom's side of my family that were here by the first half of the 18th century. They settled in Virginia and even today I have a lot of family in Virginia and some in North Carolina.
>restricted to whites only
Mexicans were never banned
I have a fuckton of those. Half my ancestry is from TN and Kentucky though. Other half is from michigan with some canadian, mostly recent irish immigrants and german but there is still a little old english/scottish on my grandmas side from up here.
i have a ton of ancestors that were literally patriots and one was actually a redcoat spy from devon england.
also my last name was from a guy from the east midlands that came over in the 1600s.
tons of old ass ancestry. even had some english + dutch colonizers that went to jamaica/south africa for a while
Latinos weren´t banned in the 24´s immigration act.
And?
the original naturalization act of 1790 had been patched over by then
*Puffs smoke in your face*
also not being a citizen isn't the same as being banned, i.e injuns and blacks
