Probably more than you think. I have ancestors on my mom's side of my family that were here by the first half of the 18th century. They settled in Virginia and even today I have a lot of family in Virginia and some in North Carolina.

I have a fuckton of those. Half my ancestry is from TN and Kentucky though. Other half is from michigan with some canadian, mostly recent irish immigrants and german but there is still a little old english/scottish on my grandmas side from up here.
