the demo disks were my jam. there is one i am desperate to find because it had a game that after all these years i cant figure out what it is.
the game was a sidescoller, you played as kind of a silly looking guy, like a human version of earthworm jim. the level in the demo was in some sort of crazy factory with lots of green (green sludge/liquid?) if you let the character idle for long enough he would do funny things. i think power up/health items were like cans of pop. like slurm from futurama. i cant remember the enemies, and cant remember what your main weapon was, possibly a gun?
my favorite ps1 game is final fantasy viii by a large margin. i love that game and it is very important to me. best OST too
