I want to finally buy crypto. Not much but I want to spread a little and get a variety of coins to get a feel for this and learn how to do it. How is this?
>$500 >Link $200 >Qash $150 >Stellar $150
Do I buy ETH on coinbase and then transfer it to Binance to exchange for alts?
Could be honstly worse. Could very well be that one of the three delivers
Dominic Collins
Also, $100 would get you like 2.5k REQ. High risk tho
Jack Martin
LINKies confirmed shotacons
Nathaniel Turner
respect cuz honestly thats uber portfolio idea. Don't listen to Req people I think that shit is king shitcoin desu. Don't know why it would ever be used
Just go all in on one coin. It really doesn’t matter which one, pick a top 100, I’d suggest one in the range of 75-25 position on coin market cap. When he bulls run they all run and we are still in an emerging market so you will most likely make money as long as you can stomach the volitality and don’t sell at a loss.

If u really wanna get a feel for this get some SKY too, long term project not only crypto oriented and who knows, it might be your lucky charm I see LINK is your fav so keep it at $200 and take $50 from Qash & Stellar and build a proper portfolio
Cameron Lopez
I might look into it but just from a cursory glance I've heard lots of bad, even here.
It seems good to me, is the way I plan on purchasing them fine? Also how do you recommend to hold coins for a beginner? I assume after I finish exchanging and buying I don't want to keep them on binance.
Also I'm in the United States anything I should know for here?
Brody Hughes
I am retarded, what exactly is this?
Connor Myers
Will look into it. If something is risky but has the chance of making lots of money I don't care much to throw 100 bucks at it.
Lucas Williams
It has no upside because it's a scam.
Jose Ward
What about BAT? I was considering it for the names behind it. Maybe put 100 in that?
Grayson Price
Yeah go for teams that have history in other sectors. BAT is good, coinbase listing it is going to be good for it.
Gavin Bennett
>Update basically it's a an "index fund" for crypto currency that keeps the top 20 coins based on maket cap and does a rebalance every week
William Perez
So you put money in it and let them do the work? So ideally its stable returns with less risk? Looking it up it doesn't seem to be too popular.
Parker Stewart
or maybe i should say the top 20 coins that have the most total value i circulation
Sebastian Young
if you can call anything relating to crypto "stable" then yes, like i said its and "index fund"
Nathan Morgan
*an "index fund"
Carson Baker
Meh will probably just stick with buying them for now
Landon Barnes
yes, what you can buy on the QASH exchange liquid buy there. It is UNHACKABLE because of how they deal with wallets etc. Cold storage no hot wallet steals.
Daniel Stewart
just remember to keep your assets safe in paper wallets and not on exchanges!
Josiah Brooks
Ya I have no idea how to do any of this yet. Guess I need to read up.
Won't hurt to have on the exchange for a few weeks will it? Also I don't want to acquire qash by exchanging on binance?
Aiden Sullivan
>No Bitcoin Otherwise, pretty good. Bitcoin is getting another second layer for smart contracts soonish.
Levi Richardson
Yes? no? a hack on an exchange can happen anytime, better to have a safe storage ready BEFORE you buy your coins
Justin Nguyen
Then I pay transfers too though right?
Jayden Collins
Isn't bitcoin still dropping? Don't want to buy it right now
Matthew Morris
Already have been bleeding to death. I mean, if you're looking to trade actively, you're making good choices, whether you know why or not. If you're more worried about crypto in 2024, then I highly suggest some allocation to btc.
Kayden Green
Looking to buy now I don't want to hold onto something until it crashes though, but I'm not looking for quick returns or anything. If it goes well I'll slowly start investing more in crypto anyway.
Luke Martinez
*sigh* depends on your coins, google is your friend
Aaron Mitchell
>*sigh*
whatever, this is so much fucking info to take in for a beginner you have no fucking idea.
I'm sitting here with fucking half a dozen tabs open some on how to make a paper wallet, others how to buy eth or btc to transfer, some on which sites to use, some on coinbase, some on how to use binance etc.
This is ridiculous and the worry about taxes and laws make it even worse.
Jaxon Moore
Bitcoin has dropped the least of all coins. Listen to my advice newfag: dont get pajeeted by Jow Forums, altcoins are here for only 1 reason - to trade them to make more btc. In a few years 99% of the coins wont eaven exist any more...nome of them have any reason to exist...it's fine if you wanna trade but if you just want to hodl buy btc t.have been around from 2014
Leo Thompson
Where should I go to buy coins and the like man? I'm in the process of creating a coinbase account but I don't like all the info required. I mean fuck, they want bank account, last 4 of social, just so much shit.
What do you recommend?
Nolan Nguyen
>whatever, this is so much fucking info to take in for a beginner you have no fucking idea.
we have all been there! there is no shortcut to gaining knowledge!
Brody Fisher
I'm struggling to want to go through with it after seeing how much personal info these fucking exchanges need. License, last 4 SSN, ETC.
Jaxson Perry
yes, but how is this different from your (U.S?) bank or exchange where you trade your stocks, funds and bonds, of course they need to know who you are
Kevin White
Because crypto isn't anything like those things and it goes against the entire attitude that existed during the start of crypto currency.
Fuck the state. There's no reason they need ID and everything for me to buy digital currency, if they don't need it for online transactions of goods.
William Foster
Not to mention its easier to give your personal info to a bank or stock exchange or something compared to some fucking crypto exchange on the net.
Christian Gonzalez
Chainstink and smeller poomens are fine. Pick something else instead of qash.
