Pizza

Literally 3rd world

Drowning in bureaucracy.

People should stop coming here for treatment then.

they have to, 4th world france is even worse

Good for the unusual innovation, bad for average to low-wage earning people.

Never hear of cases like these, tho I guess the hospitals for turbo rich should be pretty good and people visit specialists that sre top of their field all over the World. More comlonly you hear ameriblobs travelling to Mexico or Canada to get pills they can't afford to buy in clapistan due to price gouging.

The US is third world!

Very good for the rich and bad for everybody else
This is my view on basically all of america

>I removed a small tick but left the head in
Why

haha why are americans like this

Have you ever removed a tick? If not done carefully, the head breaks off and it's really hard to get the rest out even with tools.

OK if you get thw body and the head is dug in (lige an alabama tigg:D)

Usually comes out on its own and doesn't increase risk of TBE/Lyme.

People leaving the entire tick in and using lighters or acid and waiting for it to fall out though, lel

American healthcare seems to work for those who work hard, pay for insurance (or get it through their employer), and take care of themselves. i don't see why those people should have to pay higher taxes so that 300lb Shaniqua, who smokes, drinks, and has 6 kids, can have "free" healthcare for her and all the niglets. This is the kind of horseshit we deal with in leafland. Please don't change, Murrica.

Except that they pay more in taxes for healthcare than any other country and are getting an extremely poor return on it
American healthcare is far too expensive full stop

>let me tell you about your country
I spend maybe, MAYBE $200 on healthcare a year.

only rich faggots go to America for healthcare

imagine being such a fool that you get tricked and don't even realize it, actually defend it
every insurance's wet dream

Why doesn't he just cut the head out with a knife of something?

>mfw urine therapy videos on youtube
everyone is exactly how you'd think they'd look

American healthcare can be cheap/free if you know how it works. A friend of mine living there told me he had his parents have free operations and treatments.

You can't have an opinion about something that doesn't exist.

Do you know how much of our taxes go to healthcare programs or subsidies? Because its more than most 'socialist' countries
inb4 >NEET

we LITERALLY have people in our parlament that do urine therapy (obviously CINQUE STELLE)

But urine works...
It's gross? Yes. But works...

I mean, if you have no access to a proper way to threat a open wound, pee on it can save your life.

rip

>People leaving the entire tick in and using lighters or acid and waiting for it to fall out though
people do this?

Attached: baloo.jpg (210x240, 16K)

Go back to lat and stay there, faget

Infections caused by ticks can be dangerous.

There is a difference between that and giving yourself aged urine enemas to activate your chakras.

It's lyme.

People do that?

I think the sad thing about it is that it seems most Americans have no problem with it.

>Break arm
>Go to America to receive the privilege of substandard care and a bill for $60,000
Why would anyone do this? Do Americans not realize how overpriced basic care is here?

She needs to find a witch who can cure that shit

You don't even live here shut the fuck up.

Americans on this site are underaged or college students (or NEETs). They rarely have first hand experience with the system.

I seriously cannot get it. You DO have physician deficit, you have hordes of doctors who want to practice. Why not just let them fucking practice instead of making them go through a pointless residency most don't even want? See the fucker in OP pic, all he needed was someone to tell him to take clindamicine, he doesn't need a fucking internist to give him a high coture tailored HIV treatment.

Americans have a big problem with drug addiction.

There's no need for us to get universal coverage. using Gofundme is more effective and reliable

Outstanding quality, poor accessibility

Is she seriously too stupid to use a knife to dig it out?

It sounds like that hurts like a mofo

A better option would be to make it easier to doctors from specific countries to come here and practice.

American healthcare is good if you're a millionaire willing to throw money at problems.

Unfortunately most people, yourself included, are not.

Id imagine having an infection for almost 2 years is just as painful 2bh

do people really do this why not go to a nordic country or some shit wtf

I think he is talking about illegals or something. He probably doesn't realize that Latin America has healthcare too.

How could you possibly come to that conclusion holy shit

No it's not, it's a stupid ass myth

It's literally in the OP post yes people do that

story (copied from text file):

>after 4th year (so 2014) you get to choose between 2 weeks of ER and ambulance for summer practice
>I choose ambulance, since I'm a stupid shit and assume it's gonna be "an adventure"
>It's mostly boring stuff, people usually calling when the ambulance it's not really needed, most of the medical shit is pretty straightforward and our job mostly involves transport to the ER
>End of the shift
>We get one last call for chest pain
>We arrive in a shitty part of the city, enter the apartment
>It's filthy and it smells like rotten food and human feces
>Woman that called 911 is obese as fuck, doc starts the anamnesis and physical, paramedics bring the ECG,
>We move to the main room of the house
>The horror
>Patient on the bed is not as huge as his hambeast wife, but he has the nastiest case of inguinal hernia I have ever seen, it looks like all of his intestines are stuffed inside his nutsack
>The thing looks like it should've been operated on three years ago, if not sooner.
>The bed is wet from blood, as the compensatory circulation around his magnum scrotum must have ruptured somewhere spilling fresh blood on the sheets
>Wife mutters "oh yeah, also hubby is bleeding"
>You think?
>We try to try to tell the "hubby" that he has to be moved to ER
>He refuses, and keeps muttering that he ain't gonna do it
>Wife doesn't want to go either, but at least her condition doesn't look like a heart attack
>We try to explain that he can die from blood loss and the hernia has to be taken care of
>He keeps mumbling that he's not gonna go
>We do what we can to stop the bleeding, take pictures, take the written refusal form, fill out the documents and leave

Oh and he was (or at least claimed to be) a retired physics teacher in high school. Never found out if he died.

>separate physician billing

you think his wife fondled his hernia?

There's a possibility that lyme isn't cured by antibiotics. There will be symptoms after years
t. still get joint pains and light headiness after 3 years

maybe... why didn't she just sit on it with her morbidly obese body and push his organs back into his torso?

The problem isn't that most people don't have healthcare, the problem is that its so fucking expensive that going to the doctor for an hour where they check your blood pressure and give you antibiotics will literally cost you thousands of dollars. I was recently bitten by a viscous pitbull and the owner just walked away so I was worried about rabies. Went to the doctor and he said that it will cost $20k so I asked him to call my insurance to check if they'll pay for it. Thankfully I have insurance that payed for it but if I didn't have it(like millions of people here don't) I'd be sitting there for the next 6 months thinking that there's a chance of me dying of rabies any time.

What in the goddamn
How does this even happen, how the fuck do you get all your fucking guts spilled into your fucking nutsack what the FUCK
Do you even have that many guts? I cannot comprehend this picture.

I'm also impressed how the skin just fucking stretched as if it was nothing.

>American healthcare
Whoever wrote that isn't American.

Is it true that high school teachers can't afford to cancer treatments and need to have a 2nd job at a car wash or was Breaking Bad lying?

I say "American healthcare" all the time and I'm American. Once you realize what real healthcare looks like you always add the "american" qualifier when discussing healthcare in this country.

Yes, though it depends on the district and the union.

why didnt you call the bolis??

Nah dude high school teachers have the best job(srs). At least here in Cali they make bank and get tens of thousands in benefits. They always complain about their pay but I always go and check what it really is and they all make bank while having 4 months of vacation. Generally everyone in the public sector gets pretty good benefits.

this. i paid 100 bucks to sit in a waiting room for half an hour then meet with my ENT for 10 minutes. everything he told me could've been communicated through an email. it's fucking highway robbery

If someone's dog bites you and they just walk away the bolis won't do shit. I called them and reported it but fer sur nobody would find them or actively look for them as they would if I was shanked or raped

My dad went to the ER when he didn't have insurance and thought he had no choice no matter the debt. He goes there and they make him wait 2 hours after which they prescribe medicine. Later that month he gets billed for $1600

Mental health care is terrible here. There are good therapists and psychiatrists but many aren't covered by insurance so it can be incredibly expensive to get treatment. Insurers have ways of making it look like they're complying with coverage laws while they circumvent them.

t. Teen who doesn't understand the concept of "cost of living"

Also if you're in Cali and are on medicare basically no doctor good doctor ever treats you because they never take medicare insurance. There's so much insurance fraud here that its impossible to get decent insurance at a good price and most doctors don't feel like having to deal with that shit

t. nerd who believes his teachers

not any better here mostly the doctors just prescribe you some ssri shit tells you to fuck off

You have mental healthcare?

>c-sec doctor pulls baby out of womb
>presses it against the mother's chest
>cha-ching, 40 bucks
Do fresh Murrican mothers also tip the nurses?

Why is healthcare so messed up in the US? Even if you don't consent to the care you still get charged.
>be in party
>friend about to pass out
>begs host to no call an ambulance
>friend actually does pass out
>host calls 911 and friend now has to foot 1200$ transportation cost

Why don't people ever look at the reason its so expensive and just say "the government should pay for it"? desu the price of healthcare should be lowered first or at least we must know why everything is so expensive compared to other countries before we have a nationalized system.

Yeah they prescribe SSRIs here a lot too. Stimulants as well - even for kids.

>desu the price of healthcare should be lowered first or at least we must know why everything is so expensive compared to other countries before we have a nationalized system
Government does have the bargaining power but can't negotiate for lower prices. The government all give subsidiaries to then for medical research while having none of their profits.

I'm not saying that they should lower prices I just wanna know why its so expensive compared to other countries

Cancer drugs 6€ :)

OH C'MON NOW, SHUT THE FUCK UP!! Ya'll niggas come in masse to get free healtcare over here. Literally Tijuana is flooded with americans because ot the cheap doctors and dentists

ya'll niggas got me fucked all the way up

That's pretty much why. The politicians don't let the government negotiate for lower prices. Plenty of politicians are in their pocket.

administration costs, more expensive medical tech, going to great lengths to avoid being sued for malpractice, etc

>implying anyone who isn't at the 1% does that

Paid healthcare is obviously a better deal, our shithole country has top professionals in important fields such as bone surgery and cutting edge equipment even though we barely get any money in.
I ended up accumulating a few debt that I still have good time to pay off(nothing impossible with my current average income) I would rather that than just be put in a neverending list where I will be treated the same as anybody and never sure of the end result as I may just end up being assigned an incompetent fuck who got his degree from another shithole country and a healthcare barely able to afford the needed equipment for treating an individual in our modern society.

As dumb as it sounds I just figured this happens even in rich countries like France where you will be plunged in a hell of bureaucratic mess, wait half a year just to get diagnosed and unsure of whoever will be in charge of your medical history, being treated in a supposedly reputable clinic but with uncaring personal and maybe(likely as it happens a lot in Europe) treated with a faulty diagnostic since doctors just don't give a fuck after treating over thousands of anybody with irrelevant shit and the same fee at the end of the month.

>I can't earn enough for health care and 4 billion euros deficit in fossil energy is good

Super long wait times are a rationing problem that can be solved with greater funding. Also they tend to exist only for disgusting boomer surgeries (knee shit, hip shit, etc.)

Shaniqua with her nigglets just goes on Medicaid or goes to the ER whenever she has a problem and doesn’t pay the bill, so in the end, she’s getting basic treatment but the way it’s set up is that is going to transfer the costs in a more arbitrary costly way for the rest of us, while it bankrupts people with chronic diseases

Doctors aren't why healthcare is expensive. Private small firms are going out of style anyways since HMOs are so much more efficient.

>Muh niggers
You would have to be as dumb as a nigger to pay what these hospitals charge. Also it is kind of funny how this is one of the few issues where rightists will just immediately pull the race card. Really shows a lack of actual arguments.

>just dig it out lol
the head isn't the problem, the tick more than likely threw up into the wound and bacteria festered which is what lead to the infection. removing the head does nothing past that

wait times exist in the US too. Since healthcare is fucking scarce the population is less healthy to the point that they fill up hospital waiting rooms.

I was responding to the leaf guys comment who was ranting about niggers, nigger. I’m not arguing against it.

that's a fucking mandatory tip
you're literally tipping your doctor for handing you your baby
