I rent out space in a parking garage and have electricity & WiFi there, but I'm in the heart of San Francisco, so I can get internet pretty much anywhere for free.

All I need really, I shower and shit at the gym, which is like half a block from the air-conditioned parking garage I rent space in.

Will probably going up to Washington to camp this Thanksgiving, although I really want to visit the East Coast on a longer holiday.

Your estimation of taxes is way off, in California at that income level your taxes will be closer to 40%. A very modest home in a borderline part of the bay area will be 1mil. My dad just bought an aging 1500sqf home for 2.3mil that will be completely rebuilt so actually closer to 3mil.
