AMD broke $20
Who else here is holding? I go in about a year ago at $12, thinking of selling but not sure.
AMD broke $20
why no dividends?
I'm no expert in the stock market, but in terms of tech I'd suggest you sell. Nvidia recently absolutely BTFO'd them in terms of next gen GPUs. They have been getting dicked by Intel for years in terms of CPUs. I honestly don't understand how they are staying afloat.
doesnt fucking matter about gaymers retard.
if you think crypto is here to stay, it doesnt matter if amd cards are 5-10% worse; they are going to be sold out regardless
their ryzen / epyc are based and doing well turning the tide
>im long amd and holding on for some time
>I'm no expert in the stock market
you don't say
AMD is destroying Intel in terms of workstation CPUs at the moment. Intel cannot compete in terms of price and AMD is going to beat them to sub 10nm well before Intel.
GPUs is really the only place amd is suffering, and Vega wasn't even that bad. It keeps up with the 1080 in most cases, they just don't have an answer to the 1080ti.
I'm just thinking that my investment went better than expected, and I was told to always sell if it's not expect whether it's good or bad.
Because they actually use cash to invest in research and new tech.
Go look at fucking ford you boomer, and tell me how great a dividend is for a stock that burns 10% a month.
how do you go about buying your amd stock?
whoa dude
cool it with the anti-boomer remarks
why so mad? I dont even own stocks, but if I were to get a tech stock id pick one that pays dividends at least.
HLD
Dividends just mean a company is producing more cash than it can spend. Having a good dividend alone is no indication of value, sometimes having a dividend can destroy value. Besides, most cash returned in 2018 is from buybacks.
Holding 30% @ $10. Next months should perform well.
Because I hate dividend stocks and whenever I say that people act like I'm retarded for saying that.
Look at this chart 6.19% dividend and a NEGATIVE 22% return this year.
Why not take some profits? Sell half and rebalance?
what about MSFT
buy the dip
Who cares about ford now? They killed the barra
Zoom out? Over the past 3 years they've had similar growth, and if you zoom out further you'll notice that AMD has crashed multiple times, whereas nvidia appears to continuously grow.
Suppose you can say >muh bubble, but imo they are just assblasting AMD tech wise, so it'll keep going on until they actually have some competition.
Ford isnt a dividend growth stock you retard and it dropped for multiple reasons, has nothing to do with its div
yeah i know, i was just trying to bully others.
