Though, spain is the sypical western hwite country were if people get killed is a controversy. If there is a shooter or terrorist it will more likely be in the public sight than Mexico where shit is constantly going down.

Also spain had a bigger footprint in global geopolitics than Mexico.

If I remember well, mentions of Mexico surpassed that of Spein by like 10% more or less.

Mexico is the most populated country with most hispanic speakers in the world, yes even more than Spain itself.
Mexico is the producer of neutral spanish of the whole latinamerican series, even the coco movie was aired with Mexican spanish in spain causing butthurt spaniards to complain but you will never see spanish accent in the Mexican media or atleast it's extreamly rare.

There are more Mexican related games than spaniards lol.
More spaniards come to Mexico seeking for work than the other way around, Mexicans in spain are almost non existent.
