I need a non meme answer on why this happens. Why do they just shit in public? Why are the beaches and streets just covered in trash? Aren't they an extremely intelligent country?

Back in the days Indian society was divided into castes. Maybe, people from the lowest caste didn't evolve? Or, maybe, castes still exist and are enforced? Need some Indian insider here.
i believe its a mix of social retardedness (their equivalent of pissing on a bush is shitting in public) and poor infrastructure leading to not enough toilets. For this exact reason I will never visit the populated places in india, ever. I've been told by actual indians who visited family there that it absolutely reeks of human shit. Everywhere.

why would you user? Think about it, you made a decent living in the US. US might have minor problems and occasionally someone will imitate your accent to make fun of you, but thats about as bad as it gets for indians. Sure maybe you cant get a white gf unless you're like top 1% of indians, but you can probably find another indian expat to date. Now why give up a comfortable, clean life here to go back to a place where some inordinate amount of people just shit where they walk and everywhere is covered in shit. Even if you convince your immediate family or cousins or whatever to not shit in the streets, theres like 1.3 billion other indians shitting in the streets. No one would in the right mind give up a comfy life here to try and stop a never ending torrent of shit

Well travelled user here, been to pajeetistan twice. And even the second time i was shocked by the sheer amounts of trash in the streets and next to the roads. But after a while this behavior affected my thinking as well, just like a guy shitting in the street in bright daylight wont surprise you anymore, why shouldnt i just throw my used water bottle in front of my feet since everyone is doing it? And it's not just a problem i encountered in the big cities, even the smaller towns far off are covered in trash. And dont get me started on air pollution, you always have this dusty taste on the tip of your tongue, even when you drive 3 hours out of Delhi. Clean your nose and the tissue will be black and brown.
So call me retarded but i still want to go back again.

This thread scares me. I’m Indian and this happens because of poor infrastructure and just the inability to scale. The situation is horrible.
But the reason why this thread scares me is no matter what I do in life, to most people in the West, I’ll probably be considered as “just another Indian”. How do I get over this stereotype, or is this a lost cause? Do you guys not befriend Indians because of this?
Introspection, calling out scammers from your own country, honesty, etc. These things will get you far in the west. You seem to be on the right track.
Yeah, I hate scammers and I hate what is going on in India. At the same time, I also want to be treated as an individual, and hope not every Indian is categorized as a scammer for example. You are right: actions should speak louder than words and so hopefully that gets rid of stereotypes for me atleast.
Dude Don't worry so much. Of course there will always be the stigma but the first impression when you meet someone new is a big chance to prove them wrong. When i first heard that my new roommate was to be from India i wasnt so sure about it, but he made a well mannered, honest and orderly impression and since then he is the cleanest of my roommates, which are all whites btw. Just try to act natural and educated, all should go well.
i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and a family that we all love and take care off. suck my dick op suck my dick.
