This. Germany was born out of autistic, edgy screeching about blood and iron. Everyone thought they could just treat Germany as yet another civilized country on the world stage, yet it kept pushing and pushing for war as early as the Morocco crisis in 1905, then during the July crisis of 1914 explicitly stating that it desired war sooner rather than later. They declared war on the entire world and lost, so then everyone (except based Foch) thought they could sit around the table with Germany again. Nope, they declared that their provoked humiliation was obviously the fault of the Jews and went on a genocidal comeback tour through Europe, before getting their shit pushed in again. Third time's the charm, right?
Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Individual Germans may be decent people, but as a nation they are disgusting. Bismarck himself stated that moral courage is rare in Germans and it disappears completely when the German puts on his uniform. They are a weak, cowardly people. Their "industriousness" and "courage" is not courage on an individual level, it is blind adherence to the authority they so desire. They are in fact so servile that they will easily follow contradictory orders (like, for example, "Ein Volk, Ein Reich" vs "Wir schaffen das") in their sycophantic desire to be ordered around. When you keep in mind the servile nature of the Eternal German, it is only logical that the most patriotic Frenchmen are Alsatians. They are still at heart Germans, they still desire to serve the Great Leader, but this Great Leader is now the Gaullist concept of French Grandeur.
This post is also evidence of the fact that the German's nature does not change, merely the circumstances surrounding it. The Germans are just as arrogant as they were under Hitler. Now they just don't consider themselves superior in genetics, they consider themselves superior in their ability to virtue signal.
