Eager gloves man

Pretty much everyone for the next several months that's going to be in crypto is in crypto. The ICO era is over. We're in a long term bear market and the gates for institutional investment are probably closed for the immediate future.

The next year is almost guaranteed to be constrictive suffering. This thread is for considering a project that doesn't rely on "lol, look at this smart data scraping algorithm" and waiting in a little chair in a room for someone to walk in and start throwing money in the air for everyone to desperately grab at like monkeys.

In this thread we're going to talk about projects that that require decent, honest legwork to implement and operate. You're welcome to talk about any project with a physical presence and labor involved to implement, not just waiting to be spoonfed profits. I'm focused on the Skycoin platform and how building a new internet on Skywire is going to require hard real-world work if we want to carry the torch of higher concepts like free speech and privacy into the digital world, along with reaping massive benefits for our hard work.

My argument for Skycoin
>physical miners, hardware wallets and antennas
>anchored, real presence in this world
>actual effort required to connect across distances
>massive potential rewards via restructuring the internet service industry

Most of the real world and intellectual work here will be hinged on figuring out the most competitive way to connect cities, suburbs, and rural areas over wired and wireless connections.

It's not just about hard manual labor setting up antennas and laying cable, there's hard development work to be done as well. This entire ecosystem works on the harmony of hardware and software to create an entire platform around internet service.

>The ICO era is over.
Wrong.

IoT is cancer. My fridge doesn’t need to talk to my toaster. I don’t trust either of those fucking made in China pieces of shit.

I mean, good luck getting people to happily pump ERC20 tokens all day. Remember this? twitter.com/FemaleToken

This isn't IoT.

HAHAHAHAHAhahaha fucking hell. I got halfway through that before the alarm bells went off, good job.
Lets be real though, skycoin is a scam. They've been taking investor money for 5 years and still don't even have a blockchain or a consensus algo.
They don't even publish the miner rewards. You just have to believe synth's podcasts that they're being sent out, meanwhile everyone who asks any questions is kicked out of the tg and the subreddit.
So fucking dodgy,
And look at that fucking chat lmao

>slap repeaters everywhere in everything to distribute connectivity
>not IoT
