You're referring to the first wave of Zoomers. The second wave of Zoomers haven't heard of Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift. They only know Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Pump etc.

Age have paradoxically made me less of a boomer in terms of what kind of music I listen to. I used to listen to classic rock and hard rock almost exclusively. AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, KISS, Creedence, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Bon Jovi. My favorite band, and the band 17 year old me's entire personality revolved around, was Aerosmith. I had thousands of dollars worth of Aerosmith merchandise and paraphernalia. A few times a week I would go through the painstaking process of painting my finger nails like Steven Tyler's. Now I'm 29 and my taste have broadened and I guess changed. I still enjoy ZZ Top, and I dig Creedence and The Rolling Stones even more than I did back then, but I hardly listen to the other bands I mentioned anymore - including Aerosmith.
My favorite band nowadays is Dawes. My favorite song is Send Them Off! by Bastille. I adore this one too. It's my second most played song: youtu.be/9e9NSMY8QiQ
