That's only true if you don't consider all the pro-LGBT leftist parties as left. Of course, these parties barely qualify as left, they are usually parties for humanities students and social workers. The official stance of KKE regarding homosexuals is that they are a byproduct of capitalist degeneracy and thus they have no place in a socialist society. Also, a not insignificant number of KKE politicians believe that homosexuality is a mental illness and want to see gay people committed to mental institutions.

You have to understand that the right has worked tirelessly to quite successfuly subvert any western communist movement.

Eh, I think that's a pretty outdated view. I don't think that there is anything inherently wrong about being gay, its just how decadent the culture is, and not just gay culture, since hetero culture is decadent and overtly sexualized as well. I think gay people would be fine in a socialist society where everything isn't sexualized by consumer capitalism.
