Your transport links are poor your services and infrastructure are terrible your markets are weak and your treatment of minorities is abysmal.
Other than that criminality is high your minorities in neighbouring countries are problematic and you are in conflict with bigger nations. The EU is not a dictatorship, it will not crush your mafia like Mussolini did in Italy. You need a fundamental overhaul funded by your government to eliminate these issues, instead of chest thumping nationalism.

There is not much sense in simply railing underdeveloped economies in the EU. Look what happened to Greece. Ireland barely survived and managed to turn their country into a MNC haven, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia have bleak futures.
