I visited my grandmother at the hospital today
she's bleeding from her ass at 90 years old
in the room next to her there's an autistic man who's been screaming out his lungs since she's been there in the emergency room. she's been there for ten hours now.
every few minutes she grabs her abdomen due to pain. her husband that she lived with for 50+ years died two years ago. she'll be alright i'm pretty sure, she has good health care because my grandfather worked his ass off to provide for his family.

my grandad had to be out in ICU because of a problem with his kidneys. he lives 10 hours away from us so it being a school day, only my dad went to visit him. after 2 days, he was cleared out and dad went home. once he reached home, he received a call from my grandmother, his mother, that grandad died in his sleep
