a 6 pointed star is literally ideal for islam. 6 points for the 6 pillars of faith. In islam muslims only count as muslims if they meet the 6 requirements. So that's important. And then you can replace the 5 pointed star in the crescent and star symbol and use the 6 pointed one instead. And the crescent and star can represent the lunar calendar.
