As the Vichy government surrendered, half of the country and Empire Fought and Refused the capitulation.
We won a lot of decisive battle in North Africa, waiting for the US and UK to give the final blow (Bir-Hakeim)

Are you stupid or Polish? The allies literally declared war on Germany after it started its invasion of Poland, meaning fighting would have taken place with or without Poland. The fact of the matter is that A. Poland was too far from Western Europe to send them any kind of help, and B. France did send small offensives on the Rhine to try and cause some German forces to fall on the Western front, to no avail.
Not helping Poland wasn't a mistake, because from a strategic standpoint, Poland was all but doomed. The allies' real mistake was not burning Germany to the ground during the Sudeten crisis, or as soon as Germany started reoccupying the Rhine. Fucking German vermin.
