>empire
lmao, that's like the size of the state New York.

japan -70 ad - today

>Byzantium
I think you mean the Roman Empire. Byzantine Empire is a technical term invented centuries later by historians. The Romans always thought of themselves as just that. The modern Hellenistic Greek nationality was invented by Anglo-saxons fetishising over muh cradle of civilization.

america had more history, culture and technological advances in less than 100 years

that's why I used the term "Byzantium period", I intentionally didn't want to claim it to be a separate entity to Roman empire

Is that some sort of massive korean cope I'm not aware of?

no
the japanese state split up at many different points
you might as well count china in if you wanna ignore those

The United States of America

*breath in*
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAJAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHA

This

Which lasts for about 100 years now if we're generous. If people can consider america an empire at all.

Indeed, if you ask almost any Greek when their culture's Golden Age was they would say the Eastern Roman Empire.
Even the original Romans considered themselves Greeks in Italy.

Yeah, I maybe came off as a little too aggressive. This wasn’t really directed at you, but everyone else.

Its not even really an Empire

b&r

Greeks are delusional idiots, Byzantium was not Roman

Shoo

t. Justinian

>holy
>roman
>empire

I am sure this guy is an Azeri churka. Pls ignore him

Egypt was a formal state, with roughly the same territories and ethnicity for almost 2 thousand years.

But didn't the dynasty change from time to time?

shut your mouth, filthy Greek vassal, Greeks were always LARPers, when they conquered Iran they started LARPing as Iranian, then as Roman and now they half of them LARP as central Asian Turks. Greeks are a race of slaves.
only retards think of Byzantium as Roman

>Greek was the laguage of the high classes for the whole duration of the Empire.
>For most of Roman history, the Empire’s power was in her eastern provinces (Asia Minor, Egypt, Syria).
>Konstantinos the Great moved the capital of the Empire to New Rome, also known as Konstantinopolis.
>After Capturing Konstantinople along with the rest of the Roman (later known as Greek) lands, Mehmet II declared himself the Qayser-i Rûm, the Caesar of Rome.
Latini were always plebeii.

It's not an empire, more like a confederation

>>Greek was the laguage of the high classes for the whole duration of the Empire.
wrong, they just spoke Greek well and it was a literary language, along with some other functions, in everyday life they didn't communicate in Greek.
>>For most of Roman history, the Empire’s power was in her eastern provinces (Asia Minor, Egypt, Syria).
completely wrong, wealth is not the same thing as power.
>>After Capturing Konstantinople along with the rest of the Roman (later known as Greek) lands, Mehmet II declared himself the Qayser-i Rûm, the Caesar of Rome.
so turks are authority on whose Roman now

if all of your statements were correct it still would make Byzantium false Rome

>wealth is not the same thing as power.

You wouldn’t know wealth if it bit you in the face.

*cough*

And so? The Roman Empire changed from dinasty to dinasty like every 100 years and still is the most famous empire that have existed
