we have no way to know at this point if it's the genes that made them geniuses. and humans carried on just fine for millions of years without understanding shit about genetics, just acting based on how they feel like. very likely the unconcious, deeper mind has a better understanding of whether someone is meant to reproduce at a given time or not, than eugenics
