Why do you call your mother language annoying?
It's only natural
They all need to get exterminated
It takes being a superhuman to be able to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Wu, Hakka, and English.
« Shī Shì shí shī shǐ »
Shíshì shīshì Shī Shì, shì shī, shì shí shí shī. Shì shíshí shì shì shì shī. Shí shí, shì shí shī shì shì. Shì shí, shì Shī Shì shì shì. Shì shì shì shí shī, shì shǐ shì, shǐ shì shí shī shìshì. Shì shí shì shí shī shī, shì shíshì. Shíshì shī, Shì shǐ shì shì shíshì. Shíshì shì, Shì shǐ shì shí shì shí shī. Shí shí, shǐ shí shì shí shī shī, shí shí shí shī shī. Shì shì shì shì.
Still sounds better than Thai, Khmer, or Vietnamese.
it sounds better than any other asian language bar japanese on girls
No thanks. Listening to those high pitch voices saying má má makes my ears bleed.
You're absolutely right. But why are they so unaesthetic. Has anyone done research on this?
I want to learn a little mandarin.
Just started today with the sounds which was already a horrible experience.
Might be less cancer that Japanese though not sure yet.
Tonal languages sound weird to those not born into them
Mandarin is suppose to be easier than japanese
What? No
As a Cantonese speaker, Mandarin is quite hard.
And as Whitoid, tonal languages should be hard in general. Japanese is not one.
>being a superhuman
*being a subhuman
fixed
the more of this languages you speak the more subhuman you become
Because the language are speaking by literally sub-human mutts
This is real Chinese

Just wait until you hear Polish and Thai or other SEA languages.
It's really not.
Haggling by aged peasants from the countryside is always going to sound annoying. Mandarin can sound quite nice.

Thanks for not being rude like OP
Vietnamese is tonal and has a lot of nasal sounds so that has a lot to do with it.
beautiful when not being speak and sing by Han pretending Xianbei and Jurchen

so they can have space in your head
rent free
I like it
depends on region, some region can sounds very nice (skip to 43s)

>chink: have to learn tones. a different tone in a word radically changes the whole meaning of the word. Also only logography get fucked nigga.
>jap: simple pronunciation through syllables. Has a logography, but also two syllabaries, so you can write out the words if need be. syllabaries also handle the grammatical parts of the sentences, so you can differentiate between objects vs the connective parts of the sentences. sounds like a human language that a white man could pronounce as opposed to chink gobbledygook tonguetwister
I learn chinese now. Agree it's not the most beautiful lang, but not so bad as you tell. It's 7/10
>virgin yamato stealing pictograms, but stays barelly literate until he steals again the idea of phonetic writing system
>chad chink slippery-slopes from literally cave paintings to symbolic writing system
>never heard of phonetic writing, knows how to pronounce any of the 50k bushes, even though has never seen the half of them
Is there any macho asian music? I'n not going to workout to this stuff
youtube.com
this is a great movie, how good is the Chinese in there?
Post example of what you think is macho. I will try to find
>Is there any macho asian music?
You're probably looking for The HU
I don't know what you people find macho. Show me.
it's not, you're a salty retard brainlet. hope you're enjoying those sour grapes
no
hanzi, TONE, pronunciation, meaning
kanji, pronunciation, and meaning
>muh multiple reading on kanji though
not only does tone possibly change on hanzi but the way you pronounce it does too.
>muh grammar
remembering 20-30k different tones is more difficult than a little grammar retard.
>muh pitch drop tho
fuck you.
i learned japanese first including 3k+ kanji then chinese. eop/mtl/djt need not drop their steaming shit opinion
Is this macho enough?

Why black are so good?

Why do people reply to this incel? Who cares if some white faggot doesn't have Chinese music that caters to his Western monkey tastes to work out to
youtube.com
This style of music is not new to me but these are mongols, northerners. What do tough and smart Vietnamese listen to when they do subterranean muay thai exercise to fight imperialist yankee dog?

Smooth silky Cantonese song by Faye Wong.
so you know them both now? don't you get confused using two different languages with the same writing system?
Chinese pop is the best pop music in the region.
Wu Tang clan is white people music, everybody knows this.
you can do a One Piece laugh, and end up telling a story in chinese
why it subtitled? they could not understand otherwise?
Okay you asked for it, hope you dont drown on
youtube.com
think of all the different ways you can read the roman alphabet. pinyin itself is written with it but it's pronounced differently than english.
i don't struggle with the written part of it. the tonal part is one of the most demoralizing things i've experienced trying to learn. japanese was step by step while chinese is slapping my face on a wall and blindly hoping it works later. after months of grinding it does slowly work.
>why it subtitled?
sorry I hate being straight out rude but you're dense, like wow
the most superior feature of chinese is its writing system, chinese is the mix of tens/hundreds of completely different languages which all when written would be 99% the same one serie of symbols.
lol thanks!
Can someone explain to me why they use characters? Do children learn it quickly or something, because they seem like a pain in the ass.
True but melancholy and happy pop only.
Meaning wise Japanese is the best (deep meaning)
Do you know this Chinese song btw, as I live next to China town, about 10 years ago every new year, my neighbour all blow their speakers away with this:

Children learn everything quickly.

As a Chinese learner, it's surreal to hear non-Chinese speakers generalise the sounds that they make. I assume you're talking about their retroflex sounds?
i suppose that's what it was but it was still funny
Samuel Tai is simply one of the best mandopopper for a Hong Konger
