Bonus point for Northern Ireland + Scotland:
>Muh sectarianism
Gee I wonder why they'd have victim complexes
Isn't Ireland richer than the UK?
To be honest the Republic is by far the nicest of any Celtic nation/region. Mostly because independence has calmed them and they have their own politics completely disconnected from England/London. Irish south of the border in my experience find Northern Irish people deeply cringeworthy.
They all need to leave and become independent already, England doesn't want them and all they do in the union is whine incessantly.
Why were Anglos unable to conquer them?
My brothers
Something about potatoes and property
We conquered them easily, and comprehensively, as evidenced by the fact that they no longer speak their own language and are basically just a subculture of English people now.
I mean when the Angles first invaded
Scotland should be independent. Their politics seem incompatible with Westminster.
the Angles invaded an area depopulated by the Romano-Britons. The Gaels were too powerful at that point in time, in fact they were settling the west coast of Britian
I live in the region colored in black and speaks it language
Honestly it's quite boring, and very agricultural. Even if a lot of people are patriotic, I'd like to move
>The Gaels were too powerful at that point in time, in fact they were settling the west coast of Britian
What
So you speak Breton? What do you think of the other Celtic nations? Have you ever been to one?
Also, is it true that Brittany is the whitest region of France?
Yes I do. I only went to Wales, and I'd like to go to Scotland one day (I play bagpipe so I'm interested)
Don't know I never went anywhere else but it could be
Why do you think there's such a thing as Scottish Gaelic? The Angles were really a bunch of farmers and were too busy getting acclimated to their new country.
Did you feel at home in Wales? How different is it from Brittany? Can you understand Welsh?
all the areas *nglos were/still are too cucked to conquer
Cringe that you're a Londoner but redpilled because its true
my my, ias this the superior brand of english """""imperialism""""" i've heard so much about?
bretons are gigantic AWs
What?
attention whores
What makes you say that?
It's very similar honestly, and no I can't even if a lot of words are very similar
I thought Breton descended from Welsh or maybe I'm confusing it with Cornish
Brittany is the most white region of France indeed. That's one of the reason they are so left leaning.
Most of the brittons i know vote commies or far left
>Brittany is the most white region
Why are they so white? Is it because of what the Breton user said that it's mostly agricultural?
>That's one of the reason they are so left leaning.
Why so?
Breton descends from Common Brittonic, which is the ancestor of both Welsh and Cornish. It's closer orthographically and phonetically to modern Cornish.
All being ruled by non-Celtics
The English agree
The Scots don't
Boomer meme identify, there is nothing that unite those regions except some meme artificial traditions that were recreated in the 20th century
Scots and Irish are basically English in denial and bretons are French in denial
Not him but in most cases a region is left-leaning until it gets invaded by muzzies, then everyone realizes what a terrible mistake they've made, but by then it's to late.
t.lived in marseille and the only lefties i'd met in uni were non-whites and jews
provence has always been far right
Interesting
it was a republican bastion in the 19th century
Look up Dál Riata
yes, when the marseille bourgeois were the only one voting
provence and languedoc were full of royalists during the revolution, a massive vendetta called the "white terror" was launched upon republicans and bonapartists which lead to the death of hundreds of them in a few days, the spanish carlists found refuge in provence and languedoc, the french royalists of the action française were mostly southerners, the OAS and the black feets found refuge in provence, the FN's first success and mairies were in the South, should i continue ?
What makes the sound more conservative?
*south
ok, i thought there were communist bastions in Provence as well in until the 70's but you seem more knowledgeable than me
south east only, the south west is left-leaning even thougj it's changing slowly as well
i'm not a marxist but i think it's because since centuries the South has a powerfull middle class in the sense that Southern econoby has always been based on merchants, craftsmen, individuals with their own little corporations, notice that the only places in the south where communists/socialists were elected were in industrial places, where people were simple factory workers
southern conservatism is similar to poujadism and for the royalism it's the Catholic Church's influence, the part of the South that had the most royalists was the comtat venaissin which was a Vatican's territory back then
